- Mariah Carey is kicking off the holiday season with a performance straight out of a fantasy. The "All I Want For Christmas Is You" singer gave Access Hollywood's Scott Evans a sneak peek at what she has planned for her epic Billboard Music Awards performance on Nov. 19. "You might see ice skating, and you could possibly see snow," she teased. As the Grammy winner kicks off for her 15 show "Merry Christmas One And All!" tour, she revealed her 12-year-old twins, daughter, Monroe, and son, Moroccan, will join in on the fun. "I love it. I love seeing them stepping into this performance space, this music space, and the fact that they're eager to do it, that's on them," she said. "I never say 'you guys gotta do this,' you know? It's whatever they want to do and they're rehearsing for it and going for it and really working hard, so that's impressive to me." Performances and awards will roll out across BBMAs and Billboard social channels, as well as via BBMAs.watch beginning at 8pm ET/5pm PT.

I think they should let people interview Mariah who are actually very familiar with her. She looks amazing, tho

I agree, same thing happened to Aretha when she's legend status having to sit through these interviews where they don't know their history and they don't do the work. It shows so much you could Mariah felt the disrespect and lack of knowing
What would you have asked her? She has been doing this for 30 years of coarse some of the questions are going to be repetitive.. y’all lambs need to relax sometimes

A few include: Asking her about her album, Memoirs and Imperfect Angel from 2009 (recently certified platinum). Why it’s not available on any social media platforms, although one of the songs from that album (It’s a Wrap) has recently gone viral?
Are there any plans to commemorate the album since it was excluded from #MC30.
And is largely ignored on its anniversary unlike her other albums.
Talk to her about some of her other Christmas originals that include: Christmas Time Is In the Air Again,
Where Are You Christmas, which is a big hit due to the Grinch movie and Miss You Most At Christmas time (a fan favorite and only performed once live as of last year).
She recently released some unreleased tracks from The Emancipation of Mimi, which did not include, When I feel It, which was originally was denied clearance by the owners of the sample use for the track.
She released The Rarities album in 2020 which included more unreleased tracks from the 90’s. Are there any plans to perform any of those tracks live?
And maybe ask her about some of the history behind some of those unreleased tracks and why they originally didn’t make the cut… fan favorites from that album included. Do you Think of me, All I live For and Slipping Away… the list goes on, but only a fan would know what to ask her, and I think journalist could benefit from reaching out to fan bases to get decent questions.

@@GoldenDelicious78Mariah naturally has gorgeous skin and is naturally aging exceptionally. That being said most celebs this age have had a face lift and get regular skin treatments and Botox. So has she. You can’t get skin like that purely with surgery so she is gifted in that aspect but she gets things done. Don’t feel too bad.
Mariah is SUCH a charitable queen 😭👑 Scott is clearly NOT a lamb, and phoned in this interview- I appreciate her championing through this wonky chat, and doing her best to make it palpable.

There’s only so much fluff talk she can handle, she’s scrappy and more interesting than a lot of interviewers give her credit for. Case in point, most of this interview similarly was also a chop but when he said “brass knuckle” at the end, the light in her eyes came on cos that’s her sense of humour. Most interviews stick to the same “You’re a Legend, The Queen Of Christmas, you have 19 No.1’s” etc.😭 Mimi is Booooored lol
