One of the most popular characters in Dragon Ball who has barely been given any screen time is Bardock, the fabled father of Goku. Despite looking identical to Goku, Bardock has a personality of his own and never once really got to spend any real time with his son, let alone meet him as an adult. But this story, Goku will finally meet his father, Bardock, and eventually then revive his mother Gine too in a very emotional and touching story.

I'm just confused when I first started listening to this Kakarot already explained that he killed Raditz but then when it goes to him meeting Vegeta Vegeta makes it out to where Raditz died by killing freezer
Man just get a team together to animate and voice this story.
@@cedricbauman9537 yeah only inconsistent part of the story was when Bordock was first brought back Goku explained why he killed Reddits. Other than that not bad.

First thing we see Bardock doing when he was revived is grabbing his jewels. As a rabbit, this is super relatable. Being chased by foxes and wolves, the first thing I always check is the family jewels. Thank you for adding that touch of realism.

Aside from my family being ended by all manner of violent predators, life is pretty good. Food is everywhere, water nearby, my burrow is warm, the missus and I pop out kids often…and I have WiFi to this phone! From what I’ve read, these normally have a ‘charge’ and then go the way of my family when they meet wolves. This one is still surviving, so there’s that! I get to watch so many amazing human drawings that move!

I like these versions of bardock and gine (and honestly hope if they ever appear again, they're similar to this). They feel like what I would expect the nicest sayains to be and act like.

I think it was just a error i don't have any clue on his process on writing his stories but he dose of a bunch of different story arcs all coming out close together 2me its like GOOD AND IN THIS CASE Bad so if hes writing the stories Part to part then there could be a huge gap between when he wrote part1 and the final

This is a great story and all but there are a few mistakes in like the fact that Bardock doesn’t know goku killed raditz even though goku told him in the beginning and the fact that goku full on went mastered UI infront of bardock and bardock didn’t instantly assume that goku must’ve killed Frieza with such a high power level
The first part it's absolutely true, but Bardock can't sense power level, maybe that explains why.
Plus in MUI he can’t sense god Ki
Even if he could sense Goku’s power

It fits that he said Earth though, since there weren't supposed to be strong fighters on Earth, so having his son become one of the most powerful mortals in the Multiverse on such a weak planet brings up question on how the fuck he did so.

I remember watching these when they first came and was excited for each part, but 5:06 still makes me laugh when Goku says "I bet he looks nothing like me and you" to Goten, his second son who looks exactly like him as Goku himself being Bardock's second born son who's the spitting image of his father as Frieza said when realizing Goku was indeed a saiyan.
The story is not fully accurate I mean in the first part Goku tells his father that Goku have killed his brother and now Goku father doesn't know and Vegeta is telling someone else kill Goku's brother seriously 😑🥴

The last decision of vageta to take bardok back in time would backfire on him as bardok would come to know about the truth that it was goku who killed frieza and vageta took a long time to be a super saiyan and was far inferior in power level to goku in friza saga
