Out of all the DB manga here with Moro, Xicor, and everything. This is my my ultimate favorite! I never would have guessed or thought that anyone would bring Goku's family together! If Vegeta of all people can be redeemed, why not Raditz? Why not Goku's brother? Frankly I'm convinced the only reason something like this isn't canon is because Toriyama forgot about him like he did Launch.

Basically, take Vegeta's speech from TFS DBZA when he and Trunks came out of the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, replace Vegeta with Raditz and that's basically it lmao
You killed this. You gave us so much story we’ve all wanted as fans. The whole family vibe of this is seriously entertaining and touching as a fan. Great work, I just need part 2 now, with Raditz and Bardock get taught how to transform and maybe the saiyan families have like a backyard tournament that attracts some villain.
He went to Hell to spar with Raditz. Upon the underwhelming revelation of his strength, he began to explain the progressive power of Saiyan transformations.

I feel like if nappa came back to life and turned to the side of good, he would be like the uncle that like always grills at the bbq and spoils the kids lol. Idk why, but when I played the db legends story, he just sort of gave me that impression. I think he would also be a cool saiyan. Hoping dragon ball decides to do a small arc or little episode similar to this where goku goes to visit or see the old saiyans.

I rarely comment on the fan made stuff, but this is probably one of the most believable situations to take place if a certain someone would consider making this canon. In the original Z Radditz is literally concerned to getting to Goku before the other two do in hopes of taking him back. You see that seen and you can actually see the worry. So this whole thing could play right into that with him and this entire episode sent happy vibes. I don't think I have ever really paid attention to the fan made stuff as I did this. I love a story where Goku can be back with his family. The whole thing with Dende re working the balls all the way down to his parents meeting him in hell, all of this was so well done. I have never wanted something to be considered canon from a fan made project before. This is my head canon, thank you so much for doing the narrative work on this. Not going to lie either, I started to get a bit emotional with the Gohan and Radditz interaction, a grown ass man "me" getting emotional over this shit. So Akira Killed Off 99% Of The Saiyans Because He Didn't Have Much Vegetables To Name Them After Of...When Ya Think About It It Honestly Makes Total Sense

Okay, Gohan is WAY more aggressive in this story than he should be 😂 he's acting like an edgy teenager who has PTSD from being abused by his uncle as a kid.
@@yes-j9r I just don't see Gohan reacting this way if they ever brought Raditz back in canon. He might be peeved or even angry, but when they explain the situation to Gohan he would calm down. He doesn't have THAT much pent up rage over Raditz kidnapping him, and he seems to be pretty mentally healthy as an adult.
Yeah they really overdid Gohan's anger towards Raditz. He's been done WAY worse by literally EVERY major villain in the series, and even some minor villains. If he didn't react this badly to seeing Frieza again, why he so butthurt about Raditz??
I think it would be cool if gines’ father was a beast of a saiyan that bardock had to fight to win gine over and that’s where raditz gets his badass hair from.

Totally awesome writing! Felt like this could be a real part of the series from original creators. You did a great job capturing the character’s personalities and mannerisms. Implemented elements of the original story to fit your new twist. Everything made sense and there were no faults in the logic. Great work bro!

This is my dream what if, I've always wanted to see how something like this would play out, if I could choose any what if to become canon it would be this one by far. I'd definitely love to see it continued for as long as you possibly can.
Honestly from my perspective this is probably the best video I've ever watched in this channel this is so amazing and the voices i love it cause it's now so close to the actual voices but you know it's like the real voices of them HAHAH amyways keep up the good work
I like all these bring back the sayajin story lines it's a great idea for the next arch in the series since we expanded universes we got to get the home turf right first lol. Your story pacing is great with the cliff hanger endings but it's time to show some progress in all the fan mangas your pushing. Honestly they read like one id get a great editor and combine them all into one since you have multiple sayajin revival story archs all going at once.
I love all the interactions, though knowing Gohans character. Hed never attack raditz..it'd be like how trunks reacted to android 18...shock and on guard but would listen to reason. Gohan is far too peaceful, even with trauma to do that to raditz imo...but everything else was awesome
I also feel like the turnaround from pissed to understanding was weird. Not that Gohan would listen to reason but he made Raditz genuinely think he was gonna kill him just for shits and giggles.
Okay I thoroughly enjoyed that, it was beautifully written and animated. I want to see more, like Gine meeting Videl or something. Truly a master story teller.
This was a very well made fan manga. I truly loved the atmosphere and tone of this entire story. I kept hoping that something wrong would happen and set Raditz off into another tyrannical fit and try to flex his power with like a time skip and he's achieved SSJ 3 or something, but I'm glad that the story was humanized and we got to see a more relatable and understandable side to him. Not sure why so many people are confused about Gohan's reaction in this story though. Did you not watch Dragon Ball Z or Dragon Ball Super? Even in the tournament arc, he was not just some dork, he honed back into his teenager potential when he fought Cell, he was as tactical as he was when he learned from Supreme Kai and had to fight Buu. He's grown up and he has lived experiences that can haunt him. Gohan has gone through a lot of changes and emotions - some fleshed out more than others - and a lot of times we never revisit old sentiments and just expect the Z fighters to just get over things for the sake of a new story and a new big bad. This was revisited in a joking manner with Yamcha and his obvious drop in power level, whereas Tien and Krillin are far stronger since they keep up with their training. The joke is that he isn't strong enough to be considered a team mate for Universe 7 in the tournament arc. Gohan went through a lot of crap, clearly not as traumatic as Raditz, and yet everyone expects him to just brush aside PTSD and previous experiences. You can grow up, be reasonable, strong, and thoughtful, and you can still have your dark moments, and Gohan, with his limited features as an adult, shows that he struggles with his own real world issues and now fatherhood. This portrayed him well as his past came back to haunt him during a time when he watched his "uncle" kill his father, and he couldn't do anything about it. Regardless of the Dragon Balls being able to revive him, that is one hell of a traumatic thing to experience. He also gave Raditz a warning, to show him he meant his rage, anger, and his power that he can stop him if he wanted to now. He was no longer a weak little child. I think he played the entire scenario very well, and it is understandably a likely reaction he would have had if Akira Toriyama ever visited this storyline. Maybe with more cheesy lines and a obviously a fight scene or two, but I do think Gohan would have done the same thing.
I’m honestly more upset that creators/writers keep depicting him as SSJ2 being what represents the pinnacle of his power. It’s wrong. Dead wrong. It’s a step back and creators keep treating it as though it’s not. His Mystic form is the pinnacle of his power, And the fact that Goku is able to reach MUI state shows where we are in the timeline which means that Gohan should immediately default to Mystic form since it’s a form that is vastly superior in every way. It’s annoying as hell and doesn’t make sense with his character. Even in this context. If you are coming across someone who was your sexual offender or kidnapper when you were a child, why would you NOT come at them with your absolute best shot? This is clearly not his best shot. It doesn’t make any sense. That said, his reaction being the way it was… Yes, it is a little bit much. The series has not showed much in the way of PTSD affecting his ability to fight or anything. It always attributed his unwillingness to fight and get involved to the human side of his hybrid DNA-it depicted that side as one of his greatest strengths that gave rise to his incredible potential… But also his biggest weakness because he has more humanity. If he had at least one more outburst due to PTSD related issues, then this over-the-top outburst would actually make a little bit more sense. But as it is… It seems kind of extreme. Usually he hast to be provoked in that very instance to such anger, it’s not usually past events that happened decades ago that give rise to such fury. What happened afterwards made more sense. It’s pretty well written, I will definitely give him that. I enjoyed this a lot.
Gohan is pretty well tempered and not very aggressive and also a scholar. I think the story was really good but i also dont think gohan would instantly attack radditz upon seeing him sitting at the dinner table eating with his dad and his mom. Its definitely a cool fan fiction story though idk why bardock was confused about seeing goten and called him an imposter right after goku told him he had a wife and kids though or all the talk about love between all of them when they're depicted as a warrior race even his mom is usually a little tough. Writing is pretty difficult especially picking up another writers work and extending on characters that didn't have a lot of part in the origina. I think they did a really good job but i also think people saying gohan wouldn't react like that are valid as well we are all fans that care about the characters and they're just giving their input. Obviously the creator put a lot of effort into it and did a great job but its hard to get 100% right with everything and I don't think the people saying hohan wouldn't react that way are doing it to be mean or shit on the work. Constructive criticism is usually ways of helping someone perfect what they are doing and make it better.
This is an amazing video. It's funny cause I clicked on this video because it was recommended to me, and I just wanted to see what it is about, but I couldn't stop watching until the very end. This would fit perfectly in dragon ball universe. I would love to see a movie made just like this, it's perfect, it's so emotional. @@yes-j9r I just don't see Gohan reacting this way if they ever brought Raditz back in canon. He might be peeved or even angry, but when they explain the situation to Gohan he would calm down. He doesn't have THAT much pent up rage over Raditz kidnapping him, and he seems to be pretty mentally healthy as an adult.
Yeah they really overdid Gohan's anger towards Raditz. He's been done WAY worse by literally EVERY major villain in the series, and even some minor villains. If he didn't react this badly to seeing Frieza again, why he so butthurt about Raditz??

Absolutely amazing! Loved every second of this! One can only wish something like this would be animated and actually happen! It would be incredible!
I like all these bring back the sayajin story lines it's a great idea for the next arch in the series since we expanded universes we got to get the home turf right first lol. Your story pacing is great with the cliff hanger endings but it's time to show some progress in all the fan mangas your pushing. Honestly they read like one id get a great editor and combine them all into one since you have multiple sayajin revival story archs all going at once.
I love all the interactions, though knowing Gohans character. Hed never attack raditz..it'd be like how trunks reacted to android 18...shock and on guard but would listen to reason.
Gohan is far too peaceful, even with trauma to do that to raditz imo...but everything else was awesome
I also feel like the turnaround from pissed to understanding was weird. Not that Gohan would listen to reason but he made Raditz genuinely think he was gonna kill him just for shits and giggles.

This was a very well made fan manga. I truly loved the atmosphere and tone of this entire story. I kept hoping that something wrong would happen and set Raditz off into another tyrannical fit and try to flex his power with like a time skip and he's achieved SSJ 3 or something, but I'm glad that the story was humanized and we got to see a more relatable and understandable side to him.
Not sure why so many people are confused about Gohan's reaction in this story though. Did you not watch Dragon Ball Z or Dragon Ball Super? Even in the tournament arc, he was not just some dork, he honed back into his teenager potential when he fought Cell, he was as tactical as he was when he learned from Supreme Kai and had to fight Buu. He's grown up and he has lived experiences that can haunt him.
Gohan has gone through a lot of changes and emotions - some fleshed out more than others - and a lot of times we never revisit old sentiments and just expect the Z fighters to just get over things for the sake of a new story and a new big bad. This was revisited in a joking manner with Yamcha and his obvious drop in power level, whereas Tien and Krillin are far stronger since they keep up with their training. The joke is that he isn't strong enough to be considered a team mate for Universe 7 in the tournament arc.
Gohan went through a lot of crap, clearly not as traumatic as Raditz, and yet everyone expects him to just brush aside PTSD and previous experiences. You can grow up, be reasonable, strong, and thoughtful, and you can still have your dark moments, and Gohan, with his limited features as an adult, shows that he struggles with his own real world issues and now fatherhood. This portrayed him well as his past came back to haunt him during a time when he watched his "uncle" kill his father, and he couldn't do anything about it. Regardless of the Dragon Balls being able to revive him, that is one hell of a traumatic thing to experience. He also gave Raditz a warning, to show him he meant his rage, anger, and his power that he can stop him if he wanted to now. He was no longer a weak little child. I think he played the entire scenario very well, and it is understandably a likely reaction he would have had if Akira Toriyama ever visited this storyline. Maybe with more cheesy lines and a obviously a fight scene or two, but I do think Gohan would have done the same thing.
I’m honestly more upset that creators/writers keep depicting him as SSJ2 being what represents the pinnacle of his power.
It’s wrong. Dead wrong. It’s a step back and creators keep treating it as though it’s not. His Mystic form is the pinnacle of his power, And the fact that Goku is able to reach MUI state shows where we are in the timeline which means that Gohan should immediately default to Mystic form since it’s a form that is vastly superior in every way. It’s annoying as hell and doesn’t make sense with his character. Even in this context. If you are coming across someone who was your sexual offender or kidnapper when you were a child, why would you NOT come at them with your absolute best shot? This is clearly not his best shot. It doesn’t make any sense.
That said, his reaction being the way it was… Yes, it is a little bit much. The series has not showed much in the way of PTSD affecting his ability to fight or anything. It always attributed his unwillingness to fight and get involved to the human side of his hybrid DNA-it depicted that side as one of his greatest strengths that gave rise to his incredible potential… But also his biggest weakness because he has more humanity. If he had at least one more outburst due to PTSD related issues, then this over-the-top outburst would actually make a little bit more sense. But as it is… It seems kind of extreme. Usually he hast to be provoked in that very instance to such anger, it’s not usually past events that happened decades ago that give rise to such fury. What happened afterwards made more sense.
It’s pretty well written, I will definitely give him that. I enjoyed this a lot.

Gohan is pretty well tempered and not very aggressive and also a scholar. I think the story was really good but i also dont think gohan would instantly attack radditz upon seeing him sitting at the dinner table eating with his dad and his mom. Its definitely a cool fan fiction story though idk why bardock was confused about seeing goten and called him an imposter right after goku told him he had a wife and kids though or all the talk about love between all of them when they're depicted as a warrior race even his mom is usually a little tough. Writing is pretty difficult especially picking up another writers work and extending on characters that didn't have a lot of part in the origina. I think they did a really good job but i also think people saying gohan wouldn't react like that are valid as well we are all fans that care about the characters and they're just giving their input. Obviously the creator put a lot of effort into it and did a great job but its hard to get 100% right with everything and I don't think the people saying hohan wouldn't react that way are doing it to be mean or shit on the work. Constructive criticism is usually ways of helping someone perfect what they are doing and make it better.
