Good morning Car Simply, I believe that people don’t understand or appreciate the importance of the information that you consistently provide about vehicles; otherwise, you would have tons of views and comments. Thanks very much for your continuous efforts to provide these valuable insights on vehicles!
I can’t believe we can’t have any company logo !!! Uber keeps all the money while we work for scrap, great video i definitely will take this into consideration for the next car
Well, I hear people complaining about how much Uber pays and doesn’t pay. I’m only on my 18th day so I’m still kind of new with this but I’ve taken in just about $2700 for 18 days of work. Could I be paid more of course do I think sometimes these four dollar fares are a joke Yes I do but I’m 299 points away from being diamond in 18 days will I retire and make a lot of money from Uber probably not but for now it’s an option while I’m in between jobs after I figured out a trick on how not to get sent all over the freaking country I now am more in control of my schedule for the day. I saw a video on TH-cam about pushing the red no further jobs or whatever you call it don’t take any new rides that red hand button after you pick somebody up. You push those three little lines on the bottom right and then you’ll see their pick up and drop off and then on the bottom, you’ll see a red hand I push that and I don’t get any new rights and then right before I drop the person off or just after I drop them off I go back online and if I’m looking to get all short rides to build up points because I’m in the city. Then I do that The other night just about a week ago I guess I was in a major city and it was like just about 11 o’clock or midnight and I must’ve got 15 of these three dollar calls and these five dollar calls. I got them all in one hour because these kids are kind of lazy and they don’t wanna drive or walk a couple of blocks so sometimes I would pick somebody up and I would drop them off usually two or three people Maybe 1 mile away and then I would just go back-and-forth because it was job after your job after your job am I gonna retire making these little tiny fares but it made me a quick $50 for the hour tips and the valuable part was I started to learn the city while driving Because I’m not familiar with that city. I also offer snacks and water and I have chargers and things like that so when I get in my vehicle, it’s a nice experience for them. Smells nice. Looks nice. I’m usually very polite. I’m not saying all this to make you feel bad or you know whatever. I’m just saying this because This is for everyone out there who thinks you can’t make a lot of money and after I figure out the most influential areas than once in a while. I’m gonna try renting a high-end car something full-size and just seeing how many of the higher end rides I can get where those are 50 and 60 bucks apiece. Because I’m really close to Disney World and Tampa. So if I get five or six $50 rides in one day I’m only gonna work maybe four hours maybe five hours so if I do that five days a week but I decide to work 10 hours, then I can make $500 a day And the rental might only be about 500 for the week so that would be $2500 probably after gas and expenditures. Maybe even 2000. But $2000 a week for driving people around seems like nice money. And I could stop running my minivan into the dirt
I drive for Uber and Lyft. If I had an electric car, I wouldn’t be able to do this job because sometimes I’ll travel 400 miles in one day on average about 300. Where am I gonna go get a bucket of electricity when I’m running low. And then I have to stop and find a charger somewhere and sit around for five hours or six hours or eight hours to charge up my vehicle I hate to be the one to tell you guys but if you own electric vehicle, you’re probably limiting your bit to make money. Do you think you get better tips because you’re driving a Tesla? How many people can you fit in one of those little tiny bubble Tesla cars only fit three more people. I have a decent minivan. That is very clean and low mileage. I can pick up six people because I have six other seatbelts. I don’t know if I’m feeling better or worse than anyone else but today is my 18th day. Yes only my 18th day driving rideshare actually I haven’t even started yet. I’m still eating breakfast and it’s 1240 in the afternoon on Christmas Eve I made roughly $2700 in 18 days that doesn’t count what I paid in gas so that’s the gross amount. Yes, 2700 that doesn’t count any money from Lyft if I had to fill up on electricity I would’ve had to cut that number in half or only ride for like six hours a day. But if you wanna drive an electrical vehicle. Then this is my recommendation to you, which is a great idea, but I’m pretty sure none of you’ll ever do it. You need to find somebody who is smart enough with electrical engineering, and automotive Maintenance and care who is extremely skilled. You need to go by yourself $1000 alternator you need to hook that alternator to your drivetrain in such a way that you can generate electricity while you drive. And that electricity that you are generating while you drive will power the car. And your batteries will hold their charge until you have to start driving and then of course at night if you have to charge up you charge up. But most likely you might only have to charge up your vehicle once every couple months. Now the idea I just gave you has been patented by other countries but here in America, the people who run the show I guess he would say are much smarter than most of you who buy electric cars. Because you have to keep buying electricity. So my recommendation is to follow the advice I gave you in this message or at least look into it. Imagine you having one of your high-end little electric bubble cars that you never have to charge up because it makes electricity while it drives. If I ever have to buy one of those stupid little electric cars, I think that’s what I would do, but I’m never gonna buy one of those. I hope you guys have a great day.
Just as a heads up for all of the guys who like these electric vehicles, do you know where all that lithium comes from? It’s clear most of you have never researched that because when you discover that the lithium is mined by children and other countries. Maybe you think twice. Another awesome thing about electric vehicles. Is there a carbon footprint before they get on the road is astronomical. How do you think they build those cars? You’re right they use a lot of fossil fuel. But here’s the part that you guys seem to forget. I’ll be glad to share it with you when you go to charge up your electric vehicle right now in the world that electricity has to be generated unlike 150 years ago, where they pulled the electricity out of the air. That’s a whole top you can research on your own. So as an electrician. I can tell you this much some of these rapid chargers that you go to and pay money to have your car charged up. Just look at how many kilowatts of electricity they’re using just to charge up your car and then look at your electric bill you guys don’t wanna hear this, but the truth is you’re using about 30 houses worth of electricity all at once just to charge up your vehicle. You don’t believe we look it up. Look at your bill for the next time your electric bill comes in put it in your car after you pay it. And just look at the kilowatt usage you were billed for. And while you’re standing there for however, long, you have to charge up your car because I don’t know how long it takes. Look at how many kilowatts it says on that machine that you’re using am I only be six or 7KW‘s per hour do you know how much electricity that is That would probably be five months of electricity for your house some chargers use in the 20s for rapid charging so if you think it’s economical because you’re not buying gas anymore, then you also have to look at your time. Is your time valuable? My time is very valuable. So imagine you’re doing really good making all kinds of money and you realize dang there’s some kind of major event and you probably can make an easy $500 for the rest of the day on top of what you normally would make and then you have to go sit at a charging station for six hours to charge up your vehicle is still economical? And what happens when there’s a power outage like you guys had in for a long time and we had after the hurricane here in Florida Some people had no electricity for 56 days like we did. Some people didn’t have electricity for more than 10 days. What if you live in an area that was so estimated that no one has electricity for a couple of weeks. Where are you gonna go get that electricity to charge your car??
Maybe this one wasn't for you... Regardless, thank you for taking the time to leave a comment and letting me know what you think! If this video does well, I'll make one called: "cars you did not expect were good for Uber" or something like that...

Here's a video for people who didn't realize that Corollas and Priuses were good cars to drive around in cheaply, which was nobody.
Maybe this one wasn't for you...
