Tomamu is delightful. There's different types of courses and it has a train station with a free shuttle to the resort. Lots of places to eat too. Thank you
Yes, it took 2-3 days to just visit half of the place. Tomamu is huge and it never keep you bored. They have a lot of other activities and great food too!
Great video, Tomamu is a great resort, one of my locals. You should check out Sapporo Kokusai, Niseko Moiwa, Annupuri, Rutsusu next time. The best snow I've ever experienced was at Annupuri and that is in 20 years snowboarding. The humidity content makes you float in the powder more there.
I have went for backcountry snowboarding in Spring. Nozawa Onsen ski resort in Nagano is said to be open for pretty long and I heard that some inner ski resorts in Hokkaido like Furano seems to be open until summer. But no, I haven't been to these resorts yet!
Keep looking downhill when you go toeside- you’re turning your head back uphill, that’s why you’re whole body is turning when you’re toeside. One of these times you’re gonna catch your heelside edge and wreck yourself. ✌️
Thanks for the tip man! This was literally my 4th ride, so I was still way behind the learning curve. This year, looking forward to improving my riding skills as much as possible. Hope you too have a great snowboarding season this year!
thanks for the comment. This video was taken at the slopes owned by Hoshino Resorts, Tomamu. Since I stayed the night here, the lift pass was free of cost for me. The snowboard rental was around 4000-5000 yen per day I think, but I don't remember exactly man. Sorry for not being able to help!
wowwwww! great footage on this video! love it really! and now i know where to stay !
Glad you enjoyed! Yes, if you visit Hokkaido, Hoshino Resorts Tomamu is a must visit resort!
