I really had a good time doing this retwist for Dray. I was honestly dying to practice comb retwisting!! Like I said in the video I think it's a good skill to have if you plan on expanding and taking on more clients in the future because some people prefer their retwists that way. No, this is not something I will be doing on his hair every time! :) He's a great brother and let's me try stuff on his hair 💕

I love your videos, you really inspired me to start my locs over for the 3rd and hopefully final time. Long story short I was interlocking and it was t working for me so I combed out my 7 1/2 month old locs in 3 days and instead of starting with two strand twists I decided to do finger coils this morning 💕 excited to see this new loc journey unfold.
I've been interlocking my son's hair but it never looks clean like this does. I'm going to try this method instead.

Hey! Thank you!! Over time any kind of product will leave some amount of buildup! From a few products I have tried, the aloe vera leaves the most minimal buildup. I like to do detoxes 2-3 times a year to really clarify the scalp and locs

Clips stay in the whole time the hair dries. Which can range from 30-45 min
I have a genuine question… Where do you put the clip? Last time i put the clip like yours in the video my retwist didn’t last
This is actually a good question! clip placement is important when using them. I slide the clip underneath the base at the root. Or the loc gets clipped to a surrounding loc. If it feels really loose then keep adjusting until it feels like it has a good grip
