- This video was created by my mother and I to teach everyone to learn how to dance Salsa! We understand that learning a new dance can be difficult, and for this reason we made this video! Every part is broken up into steps and the number count will be on the screen as your practicing the steps! We have made our video as simple as possible and e want to you to feel comfortable and be able to enjoy Salsa! We hope you enjoyed the video as much as we did!

Sometimes called Cumbia Salsa, this type of salsa is known for taking a bit from the "conga line dance" with its little kicking actions. Usually this salsa dance subgenre has kicks on the "4" beat, and the dance itself usually is on the "on 1" mentality.
Also, when you hear the "cowbell" strikes on beats 1 and 3 in a Colombian salsa song (for instance, "Cali Pachanguero"), you probably want to add a bit more energy into those little kicks you do. My two bits.
