I am definitely getting those Grasshoppers again. They were the BEST shoe ever. I remember feeling like Matt Pailes and Matt Reason and Matt Rodrigues wearing those shoes. Basically I felt like my name was Matt.
I still wish they'd not messed with the shape of the Creager's as much as they did but that's great looking shoe to own all the same. The I-Path's look perfect on the other hand.
Just got my black grasshoppers on Friday and they skate amazing! I was worried they didn’t have enough puff but they skate perfect out of the box as you mentioned. Thanks for keeping it 💯. Great review as always!
I'm glad Ipath is back, I'm gonna have to get me a pair of cats again dude I skated those back in the day and they were great. Creagers are still my favorite sk8 shoes, navy/grey/red is the best in my opinion
I recently ordered some new grasshoppers after seeing they were back again. I'm still waiting on them (of course FedEx is massively delayed). After watching your video, I'm actually a little worried because your review is obviously super-skewed coming from your viewpoint of someone with narrow feet. I have fairly wide feet (4E wide) and that was one of the reasons I loved the original grasshoppers, they fit so nicely without feeling super tight, like a lot of shoes do. I guess I'll just have to wait and see, but I'm definitely worried that they'll feel too tight based on the just the side-by-side comparison of the shoe size.
Right now from looking at the Es' site, they're trying to sell whatever stock they have left so perhaps it can start fresh. The new owners said they don't know a lot about skateboarding so Pierre and Don are still running it to continue the legacy of Sole Tech. Also from talking to TJ too is everything will still be the same just with new owners because Pierre was building up debt so he had to sell Sole Tech.
I definitely need to grab a pair of each and that half size down does make a difference… I fxcked up goin a half size up thinking they’d be super cushiony like sb dunks on the inside for some reason when I ordered the muskas when they first rereleased and finally skated them and jammed my left big toe and it finally went away when I stopped skating them and went a half size a full size down with other skate shoes
Any idea if the black/white creagors that were scheduled for holiday are still gonna happen? I know the navy/white are around now, but I’ve been holding out for the black/white
I think the old grasshopper is the superior shoe. It's stiff because it's higher quality. Which means a longer break in period. Basically the shoe will perform better and last longer. I don't like that Ipath slimmed it down. And broken in out the box means cheap. Not saying it won't skate well. It just won't last long. Companies right now are maintaining the appearance of their top models but using less material to cut down on production cost. Then selling it for a premium price. A scam reallly. Profit is up at the expense of quality. It's a scum move. Only professionals benefit because they don't need to buy the crap. They skate it for free then move on to another pair with the quickness when it falls apart in a week or two.

I had them back in 2004 and they might skate even better now🎉
@@searchforthetruth1 I only wish I could skate like I did in 2004. I’m keeping the train on the track with all the steam i can still muster

This is the best channel. I'm heartbroken about the templeton cancelation. ❤️

Love this channel. You two did a great job on this new video!
Just bought the Creagers in the White/Blue. Always wanted them since they came out way back when.

There’s a reason why ipath died…
