Good morning “Mr. Scammer” 😂 Let the women be Skimpy please… Once again listening to you makes me wanna get back into reading these again, you make it so so fun and interesting… Passion 👌🏼Those record and tape ads incredible!!! Love the Canine Corner… Now I wanna roll in Cheerios… You made my morning my friend, thank you 🙏🏼❤️👓🪖☄️
Dress up in skimpy outfits and roll in Cheerios. In America it’s totally allowed - you can even do it in film! Not sure about in Canada where there are stringent skimp laws!!
Really fun episode GG with some great comics! I’ve been really into that era of Superboy #190 recently and I’ve been rereading a bunch of them. Just really enjoy the Bob Brown and Murphy Anderson art. Good stuff!
Always enjoyed the Superboy issues back during that time frame, more than Superman. They were more fun, plus had those Legion stories as a bonus. I could not hang with that jungle girl Rima... She is too friendly with the crocs and other animals I don't want too close to my spiderweb speedo that I would be wearing in the hot jungle LOL. The LOSH were the best! Still don't remember the big fellows name (giant brain boy)? Only 1 year old when the Rock book came out? Heck, I think I was a senior in HS (at least I feel like it) LOL FYI, we actually had a native American in 91, that when we wore the Kevlar (that replaced the "steel pot"), he would put a feather on it. Never bothered to ask him why though; I thought it looked cool! All I had was a Punisher skull on mine (that I drew with a sharpie, and was told later I had to remove it). 😵 Even with no real power, after seeing Dreamgirls nighty-night cloths, you can see why they kept her around LMAO! Yes, more old comics!
Great throw pillows! Love the Redondo and Nino art. My understanding is that the first four issues of Rima adapt a novel called Green Mansions (or something like that) Did you order vinyl, cassettes or eight tracks from those old record club deals? The good old Jimmy Olsen fan club! Great video, looking forward to more. 🎉
If Rima catches you dressing your dogs in sweaters, she's going to be angry! I think Rima looks a little like Carol Lynley in some of those panels. I also appreciate Canine Corner! When I was a kid, I loved Superboy and Superboy comics. I swear I remember having a tin Superboy lunchbox when I was in elementary school, but I can't find it anywhere, even on antique lunchbox sites. Maybe it is a false memory. I did not know those comic ads had a common artist! Suddenly I feel like eating a bowl of Cheerios. The giant variety, of course. Another fun video, David!
Rima is ok with dresses or she wouldn’t wear one herself. I must admit IDK Carol Lynley. Hey!!! I remember responding to this. I said we have to help you find a lunchbox. Weird.
@@garagegeek4863 If you see a Superboy lunchbox, let me know! I try to search one out every few years with no success. I'm thinking it may not have existed and I simply had a Superman lunchbox.
Who wouldnhave thought Garage Geek has a criminal past as a scammer. Wow! :D I think Sgt. Rock was actually translated into Danish and distributed in Denmark for a while. I seem to remember seeing Sgt. Rock comics in news stands and the like back in the day. I think he was called something else in the Danish translations though. But I could be totally misremembering this altogether.
Superboy 190: those kids were part of the Yogi and Boo Boo brigade. For myself I like women in skimpy clothing. I think women are infinitely more beautiful to look upon in art than men, especially in the raw!😍 I hope I’m not being rude or offensive, certainly don’t mean to. Nester Redondo had beautiful line work! Would be fantastic to have these great Filipino artists gracing us with their artwork today instead of the garishness infesting so much of modern comics. Russ Heath drew some of the most memorable attractive ad art in comics! Never understood DC’s obsession with apes😂 Hey .. I hope I didn’t do something wrong by leaving my email in a past comment? Didn’t know how else to get it to you. Take care good sir!
Unfortunately, YT blocks comments with emails so I most likely never got that comment. It’s a shame if you wrote a lot because the entire comment will be blocked. I’ll say my email today in my livestream.

@ Oh don’t worry, if you came to Montréal you would quickly realize that not many rules or laws here 😎🎶

They are fun. I’m reading 6 more comics now to review in a couple of days.

I never ordered 8-tracks - I was too young during that phase. I need to read that Rima novel.

I’ll make you one but my art skills are poor.
Those were some great books.
So much fun to read and explore the artists. I really don’t know much about the comic book artists of that era.
Sgt. Rock
Lol…did you hit enter by mistake…
@garagegeek4863 No. It was cool.

@@This-Is-Music That’s neat. I guess you need American war stories called Nazis lice!!! Still, that’s interesting what gets chosen for translation.
