john ive been flying the xk x520 vtol over a year, xk makes good little flyer, ive enjoy the hack out of my, and a lot of hot glue you'll flying again, happy flying !
Can’t wait for part 2. Will the x450 survive airplane mode? Have yet to see a review where the x450 survives airplane mode. The reviews have all ended with catastrophic damage to the motors/gears/servos and/or plane.
Got mine few days ago. Ive had my maiden flight today and this thing is awesome! I never flown a plane before, only quads. I knew that in quad mode I will be fine. I was bit nervous on plane mode when I switch it on for the first time, it took me a while to get used to controls. When I panic a bit I always switch it into a quad mode, and I must say that now Im ok with plane mode. Just waiting now for more battery packs to arrive and will be practicing bit more until I feel confident to put into 3D mode and try some loops and rolls:) Also tomorrow I will be changing connector in plane for Deans connector, and also in stock battery Ill put deans, as I already ordered 4 other battery packs with deans connectors, much more of them on the market with this type of connector, and also had some already at home. Great video👍
I bought this model. Didn't last more than 10 flight. For no rythm of reason , the main PCB smoke and kill my 3S lipo as well. Opening up the main board show that likely the regulator IC was blackened. I then order a replacement for the main board. Took a picture before I replace the main board so I ensured that the wire to various connectors are identified and re-installed properly. After replacing the main board and power up to bind the new main board and try to fly in M mode. Unfortunately the right motor seemed to be under powered compare to the left motor . The aircraft is lifting one side up . In another words why is the left and right motor out of synch. I open up the right side to check the PCB and wiring. Seemed ok but no power. What can be the problem?
Got mine yesterday and it is so disappointing. Everything works, nice and stable, BUT no yaw from the left stick. Radio says it is in Mode 2, shows values of left stick yaw, but the plane does not react to it. Otherwise everything else works. But, can't fly without yaw, no directional control taking off in multi-rotor mode. Any advise would be appreciated, Thanks!

Really? From what? I did flip it into the vertical hover mode a bunch, that’s works awesome too, but not airplane mode yet.
Lots of reviews in airplane mode, lots of them....
