Mental and emotional wealth has so much more power in one's life...not even comparable. It's great to be rich monetarily...but having peace and contentment is true wealth.
Silently powerful
These toxic people don't cross our path by chance; through them, we learn to set personal boundaries, to say "No," to value ourselves, and to become wiser and stronger. Recently, I went through such a lesson, I learned a lot, and I removed those people from my life. Even a friend with whom I had been close for 35 years turned out to be a vampire not only of time but also of energy; she burdened me with her problems and went to sleep peacefully, while I ended up with a migraine. I removed her from my life, and not just her, but also other acquaintances, whiners, pessimists, etc. These people drag us down, but we want to rise, don't we?
No one on this entire earth....EVER gets exactly what they want...and if they "apparently do"...they get bored and keep looking for the next "great thing" to accomplish. Never ending.
A good habit is earned not given to one by birth. Do YOU want to stay calm...who can give you uprising without YOUR allowing this to happen?
