Dyslexia Overlays: Using Coloured Lenses

Professor John Stein considers how colour overlays can be used to help those with dyslexia. He describes how yellow and blue filters can help dyslexics with reading as well as other difficulties.

This sounds amazing. I have just found out I’m dyslexic through my university, and I went through different coloured overlays prior to ordering to find out which colour was most suitable.
I found the yellow one gave the sharpest vision of the letters. I am currently awaiting my yellow glasses to arrive at the optometrist’s. Very interesting stuff!😃

I'm dyslexic and getting prescription colouted lenses which should help I am 18 could have befitted from these during exams and primary and secondary school

wish I had herd of all this 55 years ago it would have helped me tremendously to read and write properly and may be i could of had a better job but now I depend on spellchecker all the time.
