There are currently two features I'd like to see in MC some day: 1) A component (like a dropper or something) that places blocks, and 2) A rotation _system_. System, because it'd be impossible for this to just be a single block or entity. No. 2 definitely needs a rewrite of the entire physics system for this to happen, so I'm not counting on it. No. 1 is fairly simple though. And if we have no.1 in place... we can make an automatic golem factory. Imagine that. Golems. Golems everywhere.

Golems everywhere" in vanilla and a block placer is easy to put in game with mods if you want more than iron golems. Regardless, my point was that both your dreams are a simple mod away, or less. Even rotating blocks. Everything you can dream of has been put in to Minecraft, via mods.
Assuming both options have a 50/50 chance like a coin flip, the odds of it choosing "true" 7 times in a row is 1/128. Truly, we are witnessing elite level luck in action.
