What a wonderful engineering idea! Hide the filter so no one would ever know it’s there!🤦🏼♂️ Geoff, how much of a Series 2A will be Whitworth hardware? I am about to buy some sockets and spanners but don’t want to over buy. Thanks Lance
Look the motor and transmission is where you will fine most of BSW and BSF threads in your 2A, well worth getting set as @jdenmark1287 has suggested, they don't cost much in the grand scheme of things. Best of luck, kind regards, Geoff
Hi Clint, Sadly not as it is registered as a NSS in the Perentie workshop manual, but I am sure any Isuzu truck specialises would stock them or our good friends at KLR. Kind regards, Geoff
Some unsolicited advice: Skip the 1990’s tv introductions for TH-cam videos. Don’t mess with telling people what you’re talking about doesn’t apply to the vehicle you are leaning on. If you are showing a mechanical ⚙️ pan from wide view to narrow field of view, and clarify exactly where that part is. List the part name and system it belongs to, IE, the primer pump banjo bolt pre filter. Always enjoy your content 🤙🏻
Yep another great video!Thanks Geoff👍👍
I recently got a isuzu county i didn't know about this filter I'll have to check mine!
THANKYOU!!! I've been told such a thing exists but couldn't quite work it out!
Thank you Jeff. Great tip! Cheers
No worries, one to key and eye on. Cheers Geoff
@seriouslyseriesaustralia Sorry for the spelling error Geoff! Take care.
If you had of come and seen me 50 years ago l could have taught you that is a banjo bolt and you need new sealing washers when you remove that bolt.
Hi Jeff I’ve been a mechanic for many years and I didn’t even know about it on the 4bd thanks and say hi to Murray for Neila and myself (Jason)

Just buy a set of Whitworth spanners, you will want them. You can get by with metric and imperial but they never quite fit right.
