That's actually not a bad idea
This is like adventure time, but more brutal
0:50 Alright STOP. Loki is NOT Thor's brother. He is Odin's blood-brother. They aren't related.
I'm sick of the imprinting Marvel has done on people's understanding of Norse mythology.
I do not mind that Marvel Comics rewrote the story. We do that with stories. I do mind that people do not know the difference. We should teach the history not the comic!
Thank you so much for making this video!
😺😺😺😺
IN REAL MYTHOLOGY THOR AND LOKI ARE NOT BROTHERS!
@Suppertimepuss2 There is a difference between Norse mythology sources (which are the two eddas) and Marvel comics
@Suppertimepuss2 the norse gods are real. They've dug up actual statues from the ground from people who knew them centuries ago. There are people who worship the norse gods today. Just because Jack Kirby and Larry Lieber made up a comic book inspired by norse myths doesn't elevate the comic books to a "telling."
Perfect timing! I am currently re-playing GOW again! Love your channel!
they should have gotten Jane Foster instead, the actual female Thor.
I am Thor the Thunderer, son of Odin, prince of Asgard. But today, above all things, I am an Avenger. And this world is under my protection!
Starts playing rains of castamere, "The Aesir sends their regards!".
Gotta love the Norse gods
Also
Poor Thrym, all he wanted is a beautiful goddess as queen (through blackmail)
Easily one of my favorite norse myths. Well done.
Thor and Loki aren't brothers. Loki and Oden are blood brothers, so that would make Loki Thors uncle.
Offering sacrifices to Thor must've been one of the reasons northmen had to go Viking. The dude ate An Ox, s#!+ amount of Salmons, Whole bunch of cakes and three barrels of honey mead. And that's just when he was pretending to be a lady and didn't want to be too full in anticipation for the fight to come. Imagine how much it'll take to please him
*Thrym returns Mjölnir to Thor*
Thor: I shall now do the violence.
