Does anyone know if you change your gear ratio on your truck should you change your torque converter stall speed or does it affect your torque converter at all

From my understanding changing the rear end gear ratio does affect stall speed and torque.

I should have got a truck 🙁😩😢 instead I got a brand new Subaru wrx with a transmission that locked in 3rd gear within 2 years. And they refused to warranty it. Now it’s just a paper weight. Not even paid off
