They're so so soo buggy! If, when you enter the nest the baby doesn't register you, you can try agro the parent and then render out and try again. You can also try dropping eggs different sides of the nest, sometimes there's a particular drop point for the eggs that just starts the taming dance. I hope you manage to figure it out, the GRaptors are so useful on Ab.
