Ok, my man's in mustard-striped olive braces over Allen Edmonds shuffling better than my dreams, wearing a 3-pleated short-sleeved tux shirt with French cuffs above his elbow (most-likely custom), accented with a humble bowtie, and topped off with the _slickest_ hairlock/handlebar mustache combo. Oh, and he wears boxing gloves when drinking tea. God bless this man.
Gill stole Dudleys car in order to provoke and force him to enter the SF3 Tournament. When you finish the early games (I think it was in SF3 New Generation) Dudley mentions that this Jaguar car was in fact property of his deceased father (like part of his familly heritage).
@Reyan Mahir Those motives are tied together. Essentially the tournament was held for that reason so luring all the fighters into the tournament is the same thing as saying he was testing their worthiness.
Dudley's footwork is a great workout irl. I managed to get it down but it's exhausting. Probably not a good thing to constantly do in a fight unless you have dummy stamina
It's called the Boxer Skip. It's a real work out but people who are in shape lunge onto a box like a small jump. Going back and forth just like Dudley. Very good for the first minute or two so you can read your opponent and react faster. Once you can read them, you can stop.
Dudley's theme is the most 90's stage music i think i have ever heard lol. And this remix is dope as hell. I am building a mugen fighting game and this will most definitely be stage music
It's a house sound 🎵😊🎵. Pretty sure his theme was what kick-started appreciation of the genre. Even went to a festival in Chicago because of this track.
Hey uploader, I don't know if you're still around or not, but I got to say thanks for having this video around. Months ago, I got this randomly in my recommended feed and by chance, I clicked on it. Needless to say, this one video led me from being a dude who knew little to nothing about Street Fighter and fighting games as a whole to now knowing nearly all there is to know about the SF series, along with Fatal Fury/KOF, Mortal Kombat, and Tekken. You probably won't see this, but I seriously thank you for unintentionally getting me into the fighting game genre. 👍🏾
It was SBFP Friday night fisticuffs that got me back into fighting games, a little advise if you're playing with a bunch of people you gotta take a dive from time to time or you'll end up as that guy that takes the fun out of it for new players.
Yea Dudley is a technician, he has all of the hooks, straights, weaves, uppercuts, etc. Balrog is all power, no style. He's straightforward and predictable.
It also shows off he is ridiculously strong and precise, those are proper boxing gloves, most people can't use their thumb in there and much less so precisely as to hold a teacup by the loop.
When you see that Dudley stance, remember that each movement was drawn by hand - some 700-1200 individually drawn frames of animation went into each character. There will never be another sprite based 2D fighting game with as much fluid sprite work as Street Fighter 3. Other sprite games like Guilty Gear/Blaz Blue have higher resolution and much more colorful sprites but they never matched the smoothness of the SF3 series in terms of detailed movement.
I think Sf3 3rd Strike had its frames cut down in order to be snappyer than 2nd impact or SF3. Which explains why those two feel slower, but damn if they aint beautiful animations to watch
It’s from the online edition and also the Dreamcast version because the certain arcade hardware they used was not good with sound. Time so it was compressed.
When i was introduced to Dudley and his theme i litsend everyday learning his foot work learning some of his moves and listening to his theme helped me power on through Dudely introduced me to boxing and i thank him for with out him i would have no dignity Side note: Unlike Balrog who represent the people who look for fights and cheat Dudely represents the people who are gentleman and know how to fight
