In the early 1980's, my father happened to share a passenger jet flight with the great Jerry Clower. My father stated that Jerry Clower stood in the forward aisle of the plane for nearly the entire flight, and entertained all the passengers and crew with his funny stories for hours. That story spoke volumes to me about the tremendous humor, character, and kindness of Jerry Clower.

I owe a lot of my success in construction sales to this fine gentleman. As a child I listened to his comedy and while I enjoyed it I learned from it. The man was a first class southern story teller. I learned the art of delivery of a story by listening to him. He was a salesman before we he was a comic and He was a master of painting the mental picture to connect with people. Several years later Kenny Rogers made a song about the little boy striking himself out, thats so cool, thank you Mr Clower for many years of laughter, I pray that the Lord of Heaven is smiling at you for all the stories you have to tell Him.

Some of the greatest memories I have from my Childhood was going to my Grandfather's farm to either bail hay or do whatever. To and from we would listen to Mr.Clower as well one of my highlights of my life as a senior in High School and at the county Fair they had Jerry Closer put on a show.

When we repented, that was the spiritual part. Salvation begins on the inside, & works it's way out. In other words, God's salvation is shown on the outside, when it's present on the inside!
