I think there's a very interesting thing about edward that not even the writer cares about. He is religious, he wanted to get marry and have sex for the first time after, he wanted to do everything "Right". He says multiples times that he's going to hell and he also says that he did not want to be a vampire. I think his suffering comes from a place of being ready to die bc he thought he was going to heaven and then having all of this right of death taken away from him. All of the sudden he is a creature who drinks people's blood, he is someone that will never belong to God. Edward killed a lot of "killer humans" trying to avoid being someone bad but he still took lives. I think the whole trying to protect bella and failing to do so comes from PTSD experiences, just the thought of him hurting someone causes him pain. I know the series is not that deep but I think it would be cool to see Edward as someone who needed support and never had that, like everytime he tried to open himself up and talk about his traumas, Bella was like "idk, i think u are hot", it's so messed up. I like his character
Not only this, but Edward can read everyone's thoughts. What a sensory nightmare. This boy is always overstimulated. This is only barely mentioned. The character could have been so much more intriguing and interesting.
I came here for some light hearted nostalgia and left contemplating the direction society is moving and what new era will come of it. Very interesting video ❤️
It's hilarious that this has become an "aesthetic" for modern teens, as someone who was both a teenager in 2006 and grew up in Washington State. The idea of my normal clothes, the comfy stuff I put on to keep the weather off, being a purposeful stylistic choice 18 years later is bizarre.
Congrats on the transition, sister! twilight is the female manifestation of the Faustian spirit, born of the primeval forests of Northern Europe, where wild men roamed and women were preyed upon both by ancient nobility hanging on from the fall of Rome and by savage tribes more beast than man clad in skins of successful hunt.
Idk why this stuff is romanticized. It reminds me of Harley Quinn and the joker. Girls would post they want what they have, even tho the joker constantly physically and emotionally abuses her. Idk why girls like this sort of shit, it’s very scary as a guy that al thought a girl can say they want someone that’s committed and wholesome , they always end up going for the dudes that will obviously not care for them. Society is so fucked.
i would love to see twilight being told through a ballet
That could actually be dope af
Same!!!!!!
