very cool ,would be very interesting to see interview with other newer Finish bm bands like Sielunvihollinen or Curse upon a prayer if you got a chance too.
Korpi in 2019 is when I first heard of Kalmankantaja! The album artwork drew me to listen and have loved them ever since! Great Atmospheric Black Metal!
One of my favourite bands. Very powerful music. I always listen to Muinainen while I work out. It gives me the proper aggression and gives me some kind of solace in this mad house of a world we're living in.
The cover photo with the Girl in the lake , Uniani is just a beautiful picture !! I recently discover this band, and have already a lot of their albums on CD and Vinyl.., it's amazing music thank you KALMANKANTAJA !!
Thank you for this! Love how honest and genuine these guys are, that definitely reflects in the music. We need another Metsäkalmisto release, the ambient stuff is great too.
I've been following Kalamankantaja for many years and there is a great impact to me watching these two guys talking about their inspiration. Hails from Mexico
What are some good bands from mexico? I found some stuff over the yrs I thought was really good, creative, evil sounding etc but can't remember any. I know there is at least one band from mexico on werwolf rex. Can you give me some recommendations?
Thank you Nat! I think this rehearsal room is in fact split by many bands and isn't the primary place for KK as Grim lives in another city, but guys use this one when rehearsing in Turku.
Superb interview! I swear hearing the video without seeing it, Grim sounded so much like a mixture of Jani and Tomi. Especially in the first part. 😅 Keep it up, Rauta! Now to watch the Sargeist interview!
Great interview Jerry🖤 I'm not really into Kalmankantaja, but I'm a huge fan of Malum and I think the collaboration between Grim & Tyrant is perfect. However Grim is so down-to-earth and sensitive.
I didn't know Kalmankantaja . Thanks Rauta for expanding the metal over the world ! Good band I watching their videos and Im will surely buy their demon tunes !!!!!! Greetings 666 from NYC
Thanks for posting I am grateful for your channel, off topic, but definitely would like to see something on Hautakammio, its been a while since any release. I saw something posted by klemm1369 recently then taken down, didn't sound like Nagh was on the vox anymore

Thanks. I have been in talks regarding Sielunvihollinen and should happen at some point. Dunno about CuaP yet.
This band's discography is huge but I've liked pretty much everything they've released. Thanks for this interview Rauta 🤘
Cheers!
This is what I have been waiting for. I'm gonna watch this when I wake up. Fuck yeah \m/
I hope you like it! :)
brillant work as always rauta, Kalmankantaja are real honest guys
Thanks AleX!

Nice interview.
Cool to see these guys faces, I discovered them 2 years or so ago, and I instantly liked the music.

We have a band call Xibalba perhaps the most notorious Black metal band from Mexico formed in the beginning of the nineties. Just check it out
@@israelgarcia2898 I will. Thanks!
Great interview. Another of Grim's bands that I highly recommend is Lathspell.
That one is pretty decent, too.
Awesome interview, Jerry! Nice seeing the inside of (what I'm assuming is) Kalmankantaja's rehearsal space.

Like always great interview by Rauta
Thank you!
For as many releases as they have, they are consistently good. Very impressive, great band.

Thanks, Erika! I think these are both great guys.

Thanks. Well, Klemm himself said almost nothing but KK and Wyrd are active and worth mentioning anymore.
This was great
Fuck yes I agree
Glad you liked it!
15:00 A ghost opening a beer.
