    Taye's ex-wife was tripping, because many people didn't even know that they were married. We have many other problems to tend to than to focus on them. His career and livelihood comes from the pocketbooks of black women. This money contributed to their household when she was married to him. She benefited. So why be mad with us? She needs to ask herself why her community didn't support him and have his face plastered on their magazine covers and media spots. She strategically left out what her community felt about Taye. I wonder what her current husband thinks about her discussing why her previous marriage didn't work. Whew! Going forward, we should stop supporting people who do not support us.

    The "little white Jewish girl" who is from a privileged and heavily protected class is "affected" by the unprivileged and unprotected class of Black Americans, as it involves her 11 year marriage to a Black man??? She so much wants to be a victim. If she had focused on her marriage to Taye, instead of the Black American community, her marriage may still be viable. This is a copout. Her comments were directed towards Black women...who are not thinking about her or Taye. Her Jewish community had the greatest problem with her marriage, not Black people. The onus is on her and Taye.

    I had an black ex-bf who found the white girl he really wanted but didn't have the courage to break up w/ me so he started fights so he could try to gas light me into thinking our relationship problems was bc I was a BW. He moved away, knocked her up and married her. 10 years later he returned to my city w/the same WW and 4 or 5 kids. He started attending my church and since we both had interest in working with the youth group, to make things less awkward, he called me & apologized for the past. It was a 7 hour and 46 min phone conversation. He told me his wife was insecure about me and BW in general (his words). I forgave him. However, it was the next following 2 weeks that he showed his behind at church trying to pick arguments w/me (for ex, I'm a nurse...he'd say, nurses don't help ppl heal, we help ppl die). He would constantly say slick, rude things. As things progressed he made sure to put me down in front of his wife and when I stood up to him he did his gaslight pit maneuver and yelled, "STOP! YOU ARE RUINING MY MARRIAGE.!"
    Um no...I wasnt a gossiper. I'm generally reserved & not very talkative & keep to myself. I spoke to a confident who lived out of town and didn't attend that church. I didn't mess with them to interfere in their business! It's called blaming black ppl for EVERYTHING and refusing to take accountability for your own faults. The ppl who intermarry outside their race do like racist WP. Got a problem? Oh just blame ninjas. If a few sistas roll their eyes or don't throw them approving smiles, suddenly ALLLL BW hate them. There's a reason these marriages have high divorce rates and they can't blame imaginary ppl who don't exist in their homes while they are fussing and fighting.

      Well, if you mean Dr. J as in Julius Erving, his wife during most of his NBA career was a light-skinned Black woman named Turqoise, so he wasn't married to a white woman during the height of his career.
      He married his current white Latina wife in 2008, long after he had retired.

    • @halfnorfolk5310
      @halfnorfolk5310 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dr. J was never married to any white woman. He had a white woman as a side piece that would satisfy his sexual needs. She mostly gave him oral sex on the regular until she got braces and they decided to have regular intercourse. 😂
      He ended up getting her pregnant 🤰 and basically had to keep it a secret by giving the woman some money to keep things hushed because it was the late 1960’s and people weren’t as open about interracial relationships, especially interracial children born out of wedlock. It would have overtaken his career and it was already imploding his marriage.
      I believe that he now has a relationship with his daughter, who was a professional tennis player for some time.

    Taye Diggs family is from the Caribbean although he and his siblings were born in the USA. Interracial relationships don't usually last especially when the Non-Black women is married to a Black male and the ones that do are the exception. Taye Diggs said in an article years ago that he always knew that he was going to marry a white girl. Taye is like most dark skin Black males who want a white baby, and he has one, a biracial son. White women want our men as well as their own. The Black community is not responsible for the ending of their marriage. I don't know why she even discussing Taye when she is married to another man. Seriously though, what I remember most about Idina Menzel is how John Travolta messed up her name at the Oscars some years back - that was pretty funny. Other than that, I know very little about her and had no curiosity about her. As for Taye Diggs, I know that he was the Black heartthrob du jour some years back; never knew or cared about his marital status.
    So their marriage didn’t last forever - that’s hardly an anomaly in this country where close to half the marriages end in divorce. She can’t blame Black people for it ending, especially since I doubt that most Black people even _knew_ that they were married. Let it go Idina, let it go.

I keep hearing these Black Conservatives blaming blacks for what's happening to them (with the illegal immigrants replacements) when it was ALWAYS planned to finish destroying/ removing BP in the U.S. Biden didn't get into office on JUST the 40 million black votes. I sure didn't vote for that mess. This country is made up of appx 350 million citizens of which we are ONLY 12-14%. In addition, Latinos and Asians also voted for "that man". More blame and gaslighting as to how we caused the fall of a marriage and the nation. Who in their right mind would vote for someone encouraging "racial strife"? The votes of black people aren't the only reason DT #45 didn't get back into office. Everyone was weary of the drama. Maybe Taye and his "sweet thang" were just weary of themselves. 🤷

    The fact that she blames the black community is very telling not only for her but her family upbringing as well.
    Quite often white women like (even if subconscious) being placed on a pedestal and they can often get that treatment with black men. Not always but often (in their self hatred) these men will tell white women how much better they are than black women. The white woman will often feel that she has power over him as well.
    Having to stand out of photos (and other similar incidents) disrupted the WS power structure that was tatooed in her brain since birth.
    She probably still can't see it, but this had to have been a part of the problem especially since after a decade, she's still resentful toward us.

They become entitled. People don't know WHEN to quit. I live in an apt building. My rule is to stay out of other people's apts and business. I broke my rule (for an UNSAVED person) and offered to go to the store a few times for a neighbor. Then every time I turned around, she was knocking on my door (unsolicited) asking for the next trip. She was also the building "busybody". I finally had to cut that out. I don't feel well a lot. I don't like people bothering me when I am not well. Plus, she had lived here years before I did. She had other means to get around. But often people are looking for a "softie" to use. She could take the weekly van, Your Ride, and she had a son. She was always watching my coming and going. Eventually I told her I could no longer do the runs.

    Most of the time, if not all of the time, black men in interracial marriages could care less what black people, especially black women, feel or think about their IR relationships and marriages. They have said so. I have heard them say so in interviews. Mr. Diggs said so himself when asked on Wendy Williams’ show years ago. He was happy and that was all that mattered to him. I think the problem is because YT people particularly her people had a problem with it. After all, wasn’t it said that people felt that she was in his shadow. That would come from her family or her people. Beside, there are millions of black people, (black women) who could care less about who Mr. Diggs he is involved with. I actually like Idina, she has an incredible singing voice. I have a few of her songs. But if she wants to blame black people, for her personal failings in her relationship, I will stop supporting her music with my money.
