The fact is that Junior already held a grudge against Logan, he was pushing him too hard and the death of his mother was what pushed him into the abyss. I don't think Junior is entirely innocent, he gave in to Chucky's manipulation, he did what Jake was not capable of, because Jake is not a murderer, while Junior harbors rage, anger and did not seem sorry for killing his father .
Junior’s storyline was cut waaaay too short. He would’ve been an awesome contrast to the character of Andy, giving in to Chucky instead of trying to stop him. I guess they didn’t wanna go there, though I don’t get why. Junior would’ve killed someone else anyway with or without Chucky, that kid had lost it at that point.
My theory, chucky was limited to how many times he could put his soul into other dolls and people. He made a ritual. If he could get an innocent to commit murder, he could super charge his spell. He put his essence into other Good Guy dolls. Once Jr. Started killing his father, that's exactly when the dolls started coming to life. This was Chucky's plan form the beginning. He could have killed them all anytime, he needed an innocent to do it this time for their corrupt energy.
Tiffany and Chucky made it seem like Lucas was cheating so Jr would have a reason to kill his father for the ritual, amazing plan with an amazing execution.

yeah it was definitely the last step of a mass soul splinter ritual but I'm curious if it'll just be the city or even a larger scale. I can imagine His childhood home has some mystical amplification going on for Voodoo magic, just because it was an absolute point kind of thing in his life. But also I think the house may not "Mean" anything because Chucky was trying to get someone to kill before Tiffany even showed up and got all the dolls.
It was some kind of ritual so he could probably take over all the good guy dolls in existence that way they can have a limitless number of chuckies for any number of sequels they want to make. They can end this series with the heros killing all the chuckies thinking they got them all but if it does well presto another sequel you missed one lol.
Chucky army hell yeah! The dolls coming to life after Junior releases his anger out on his dad seem to be inspired by the original Blood Buddy’s script, in which Chucky was a manifestation of Andy’s rage. Sick if you ask me.

Last episode of season 1 will be on november the 30th and season 2 wont be cancelled or renewed it will stay the same but season 2 will be pushed to as december or january 2022.
It’s definitely gonna get a season 2. One of the biggest shows of 2021 isn’t not gonna get a season 2. And even if it doesn’t the creator has said more movies are coming out so Chucky isn’t ending anytime soon.
Fun fact. For the Latin American dub of the show the did the Doll voice for the Trick or Treat scene in Episode 2 which works great. I'm glad they also used the Doll voice for this scene in this version.

I love how Chucky is still traumatized by how he's died up to this point. Second movie being the absolute worst death/torture he's been through. Sure he's been hacked into pieces but nothing will ever top him first having to rip his own hand off to free himself. Getting stapled to a platform. Going through a doll assembly line. Got hot melted plastic dumped on top of him and then finally popped like a balloon.
When I was a kid I was scared af over Chucky. Then I turned like 9 and said "eff it, time to face my fears and bite the bullet" and asked my brother to rent me Seed of Chucky, I found it hilarious af and got over my fear of Chucky. Now I love the series.

They are VERY inconsistent with the metal skull in this franchise. Tommy didn't have a metal skull in Child's Play 2. Chucky's head gets inflated and explodes in Child's Play 2 as well. Andy crushes Chucky's head to pieces in Cult of Chucky. Good Guys also don't have a human set of teeth like the show at the beginning of Child's Play 2....they have two painted front teeth.

The shot/scene was done in Toronto, I recognize that Hall where he gets Chucky back. It connects the greyhound bus terminal to the Toronto underground market for the local subway station. It’s unforgettable.
This show is such a great palate cleanse from the 2019 remake (I pretty much am obligated to watch/read anything involved with Chucky since I grew up with the franchise), even though Hamill did a great job in his own interpretation there's no replacing Brad. Just an obvious fact of life. Honestly would love to see Chucky and Freddy roast each other, they're both legendary in their own right and it'd be a riot.
Yea but I think they could've made that scene alittle better by copying CP3 in a way. While J.R is walking up or down the stairs, the package could've been partially ripped or the delivery man could have accidentally dropped in front of Jake and he notices it's a good guy doll because of the ripped packaging paper. Sorta like how Tyler met Chucky in CP3

Also Junior already carried a grudge towards Logan, for his pressure, for having taken Jake to live with them, it was a pressure cooker. He did not see himself guilty of killing his father, I think Chucky's words that everyone can kill if pushed, is more due to instinct or degree of evil. Jake couldn't, but Junior could.
You can hear Logan's soul being sucked out so it can be used for the ritual. Wasn't his last breath since he was gurgling on his blood and his chest didn't move afterwards.

The realization when on Juniors face Chucky said "you had to cheat on her too" gave him a reason to kill Lucas.
He didn't actually cheat though Chucky and tiffany just wanted to make it seem he did to push JR over the edge.
