im just throwing a little theory here, but, could the kid in Charles Flashback be Eddie Caputo? would be cool if this is how they met each other, we know Charles didn't easily trust anybody besides Tiffany, it would make sense that he knew Eddie back from his childhood, and could add a little lore to the series, why Chucky felt so betrayed by Eddie letting him die in that toy store, because they knew each other and trusted each other since they were young

He was holding her hand but was still grappling with his emotions, trying to decide her fate. Hell he'd already wished death on his own abusive dad right before he was killed. Then Chucky shows himself and Jake gets to see what he will become if he kills Lexi. If Chucky had more confidence in Jake and kept out of sight, he may have let Lexi fall to her death in a fit of rage. Well Chucky's own arrogance has always been his undoing throughout the franchise.
