Hey there, it's Tech Gio, and in this video, I'm sharing my experience as a new Sales Development Representative (SDR) in the tech sales industry. During my first real week, I went through a ramp-up phase where I learned about the company and its systems. By week three, I finally got to start making calls to potential customers, and I was thrilled to schedule my first meeting!
In addition to that, my company had a virtual meeting called "Chips, Beer, and Salsa" which was a real highlight of the week. Even though I work remotely, I was pleasantly surprised when they sent me some snacks and drinks via Uber Eats. This experience showed me how fun and exciting tech sales can be.
