Awesome review. He's very cool figure. To make him the perfect Cyclops figure would have been to add an optic blast affect and an angry head sculpt.
I never ever saw that orange strap Cyclops on any peg ever, so I jumped on the bomber jacket Love Triangle Cyclops, which I love, but I really wanted an animated series Cyclops, which according to HasbroPulse tracking, comes Friday!!!!

This is by far my favorite cyclops, he’s in my top 5 ML for the yr. He’s amazing. Cyclops is one of my top 5 X-men and it’s so good to have amazing figures for him. I opened this one and 10 minutes later ordered a 2nd for my comic display.
I love that they fixed the issue with the boot and leg straps falling. Which is why I thought it was hilarious that the love triangle pack leg strap fell as you were comparing the 3 different Cyclops hahaha!!! 😄 🤣 😂

Mine definitely had the issue with the warped/misshaped visor, so I just threw the love triangle visor head on it. The blue is slightly darker & it is looser on the peg, but you can’t really tell, especially posed on a shelf.

Best marvel legends cyclops! Glad I got one. Unfortunately, mine came with a misaligned visor.
I ordered one to replace my Mafex Cyclops I sold because he had the most busted floppy loose legs Ive ever seen in a figure, completely unposeable. This seems like a good replacement. I like the cellshading on the blue, it adds something but I cant say the same on the yellow. I plan to remove the yellow parts. Only wish it had some optic blast effects.

Vhs Cyclops + bomber jacket would be cool. I also hope they make a Rogue that look's exactly as the animated series version. And im talking about the face.
I suppose the visor QC issue was the reason for no optic blast beam? After all its absence in the package is like having a Wolverine without claws. I would love to see this one released without the cel-shading, and by then the visor QC issue would be solved and an accessory would be included.

Aside from the cell shading, my major issue with this figure is that the thigh bands are too high. In order to use the mold for all the yellow and blue X-Men, they did that intentionally and hoped you wouldn't notice for Cyclops.

I got all of them, and I would really like to have VHS Rogue and Gambit some day! LOL. No doubt Cyclops and Wolverine are the best ones in the series. I love Morph too. The ladies are totally the weak part of these, due to not having pinless upgraded bodies.
Hey I got the figure too be careful with the foot joint mine's broke and I had to completely replace it
There is an xmen 97 wave that is sure to see this mold again, plus I bet we see a retro card with blast effect release.
Funny that astonishing xmen cyclops also has nee molding on the body, and for a minor detail too. I wonder if they did sonething with this mold to allow for easier and/or cheaper modifications.

I'm pretty sure they gave the bucky cap cyclops longer calf/boot parts. If you compared it to any other bucky cap figure you probably would've seen the height difference.
NGL 8:39 got me anxious. That foot looks like it’s about to snap off.

I already bought one coz I got a feeling we need to w8 2 or 3yrs bfore got a non-cellshading version of these figures.
I think the cyclops crotch is a new piece, looks like there’s a sculpted fold? That could account for the height difference between vulcan and cyclops
