If you are using a Preset that does not use Supercontrast but does use Accent AI you might get subtler results if you zero out the accent, see what you can do with Supercontrast, and then see how much Accent AI you need. There is a TH-cam titled Use this Tool Last Not First which demonstrates the benefit of using Accent last in a landscape photo edited by hand. I tried the Accent after Supercontrast with the Clear and Sharp Preset and I think I got slightly better results.
Hi Martin, it's true that both of the tools can give you impressive results. When it comes to presets I would generally use the Accent AI as it will be much more flexible for different photography situations and styles. However when I do my own edits sometimes I prefer the full control over thar specific image and that's when I use the Supercontrast tool. Thank you for the tip in the video. I will have a look...
