Kind of depends on which bass sounds you mean, the sub-bass lip roll they do depends a lot of mic proximity, but it does it really hard at competitions. The “throat bass” singing they do uses the false folds similar to certain kinds of throat singing and metal vocals. There’s live performances from them on Swissbeatbox in the competition if you want to compare.

YAMORI's voice cracks (beatbox term for the rapid yodel switching registers) are so clean and make a great contrast for John-T's natural bass voice, throat bass (false fold phonation, like Kargyraa), and lip bass.

They do that same song live @GBB if you're suspicious watch that. Bass voice is "throat bass" (from mongolian/tuvian throat singing). Low sub-bass is "lip roll" (air dragged inward in the mouth, no voice). This version is produced, so Compression/EQ/Reverb, but nothing extra is layered.
The deep bass has no layers, probably enhancments but no extra layers. In essence, the technique is done by activating your ventricular (false) folds. When you use them in tandem with your modal voice, a subharmonic is created from the vibrations in your voice and the vibrations in the false folds. (If you’re a bit confused on subharmonics, when two vibrations collide, a resultant pitch is created that is the difference of the frequencies, so when you play two notes a perfect fifth apart, a subharmonic pitch is created one octave below the fundamental). It’s the same technique done when you do mongolian throat singing, just on steroids.
If you are suspicious you can check out this performance live that they did at the GBB 2023 elimination round.
