Sounds like a double-edged sword. If straight and gay people miss 50% of the pleasure, then a bisexual person that has a wife or a husband is also missing half the world's pleasure, but wait, it is worse. A straight man that has a wife still has 100% of his sexuality satisfied, same thing with a gay man or a lesbian woman. But a bisexual person will have tasted the whole cake, but at some point when they settle down and marry, they will forever be forbidden half of their pleasures and half their sexuality.

i used to identify as bi when i first realized im attracted to girls(im a girl), but after a while of thought i came to see im more attractived to girls than boys.
i think the reason is because my parents constant saying lgbt are sinners and going to hell, my mind didnt want to fully accept the fact.

I identify myself as bicurious I'm like 70% into guys and 30% into girls but because I haven't actually dated or had sex neither of them I guess can't really know
catarina campos I'm 99.9 percent attracted to women and .1 percent attracted to men
+catarina, you don't need to date/do anything with anyone to be bisexual. If you have the attraction there, you can identify as bi (or pan or omnisexual or whatever word floats your boat, or eschew labels and just describe it to people you're ready to tell when they ask). I used to id as bicurious but nowadays I'd say I should have just jumped to bisexual from straight (took til my mid-20s, so many other people I've heard about recently have said that took them til their 20s too). Placing %s on how attracted to gender populations you are isn't always the best thing to do, I think, as you're attracted to individuals not the collective population. If people ask what the share is, its because they don't quite get bisexuality, and what use is that to them anyway.. It doesn't mean you'll have 7 boyfriends and 3 girlfriends for every 10 people you date!

@@Agent-ik1ui no, theres diiferant types of bi.one type likes both genders equally, one type likes the opposite gender more then the same, but still likes both, and the other type likes the same sex more than the opposite. Like me, for example. I'm bi, amd i like girls more than guys, like if theres a rly hot girl, and a rly hot guy, and im going solely on looks (wich i would never do) i would pick the girl. but im still attracted to guys, too

I have told literally everyone in my friend group that I'm Bisexual and even had a Korean boyfriend (which made some of my friends think I'm Gay cause they overhead me talking about him to some of my other friends) who sadly had to move back to S. Korea. I haven't even told my family about me being Bi and originally having a boyfriend even though I know they would be fine with it because my dad's sister is Lesbian and has an amazing wife from Wisconsin. Who would of thought, a Minnesotan marrying a Wisconsian.
So when I was 10 I was asked are you lesbian or bi? I had no clue what I was so I decided to discover my self. I came back after spring break knowing I was 1000000% lesbian.( btw this was 3 years ago) I know am out with my friends and I'm not gonna come out to my family anytime soon because 4 people In my family are homophobic. And I do get in trouble when I stand up for gay people idk. My cousin is bi and my friend is bi so I'm standing up for them alot so be proud and loud of you sexuality. Dont let anyone tell you how to feel. 🏳️🌈💞👑

I don't know why I see comments like "I'm 12 and I'm bisexual. How do I tell my homophobic parents?" THEN DONT! It's that's simple! I'm 14 and I have NO interest in telling them about my sexuality (pansexual). None whatsoever. Why? Because they are 100% homophobic and will not accept me for who I am. Even they weren't homophobic, I still would have no interest in telling them. My parent guardians have no say in who I choose to love, so why should I have to tell them? It's not their business. If I want to date a girl, I'll date a girl. If I want to date a guy, then I'll date a guy. If I want to date someone who's genderfluid, I will! If I want to date an agender person, nobody is stopping me! It's my choice! Why should I have to make it clear to my parents who are better at preaching homophobic slurs than raising me?

I'm kinda surprised, they're already so sure about their sexuality. If they already know - awesome, but when I was 12 I didn't even think about it. And now at 14: I still have pretty much no idea about my sexuality😂😂😂

My parents can be very homophobic too. I feel like, they'd accept it but they'd make fun of me because of it.
One of the struggles for me is that I really like women just as much as men but at the same time I would love to have a biological child as well as adoption, and I know if I do date a woman it will be really difficult to have a child because IVF isn't really that effective most of the time.

heck yeah! You can be whatever you want. Just don't be that bisexal person or lesbian/gay person that plays with girls/boys feelings just to figure out if there bisexual/gay/lesbian and them dump them when they fight out there straight.

1. If you are bi, who you date won't change that. If you're in a relationship with or have a crush on a boy that doesn't mean you're automatically straight
2. It's up to you if you want to identify as bi. We can't tell you if you are bi.
3. (This is something I wish I'd known when I was figuring it out) The "percentage" that you are attracted to males vs females can fluctuate and that makes it especially hard to figure out your sexuality. It won't necessarily happen to you though. Technically if that happens it's called fluid sexuality but people who experience that tend to identify as bi.
When I told my dad I was bi he said
"What?You're lesbian?"

I felt really comfortable coming out as bisexual to my friends because I have a lot of gay friends. They made me feel so much better about myself, and I can't thank them enough.
Well I have a gay friend and an other friend who is extremely supportive.
She was like when I told her about that friend: "Good for him. That's not a choice...like really... Those homophobic people are just idiots...You can't love someone?"
