Pennsy Rerailer

Pennsy lightweight rerailers tested to rerail a 200 ton 6-axle locomotive. Norfolk Southern tested at Shaffters Crossing in Roanoke, VA on 1-25-12.
Pennsy designed a light weight Inside & Outside rerailer set. Weighing less than 100lbs each, these rerailers safely fall under OSHA's & NIOSH's 2 person lift criteria.

It's nice when they climb up and drop on the track the first time. Usually it takes several attempts with these type rerailers.

No thanks, i'd rather pay an outside contractor thousands of dollars rather than save thousands by utilizing our own personnel to re-rail a simple derailment.
