I first heard these sketches in the 1960s from an LP record of a performance by the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in 1958 under the baton of Bartok's close friend, Fritz Reiner. It has been more than half of a century now, and I have rarely heard them played in concerts. So, I deeply appreciate this upload of a live performance well done.
