I just bought 1 last night. They didn't even have 1 on display to hear. But, the walmart electronics associate reccomend it. He said it's better sounding than the JBL I actually went to buy, and it was $100 cheaper than the JBL. The unit was $139.00 plus sales tax, and I purchased the 2 year protection plan for $16. Came with a 90% charge. Paired it to my phone, also got the app they suggest to control features on the speaker. (You don't have to get the app. It has different light patterns the speaker can do that you can't control on the unit itself. Plus 3 different sound settings and even some custom sound options). Out of the box audio was great, you can feel the BASS. Took it outside and could actually still hear it over the loud diesel truck driving by. Range was over 100'. I walked way up the road from the speaker, and had no glitching, or music loss. So far happy with the purchase. Feature I probably won't use much is the lights. Really an unnecessary feature in my book.

I have 2 of this speaker i connect both and they sound loud with good bass I use them in door and out door to me they both sound excellent I had JBL speaker and they sound lower than both of this 2 cool speakers I had them for 1 year already and they both are good no problems I recommend thia speaker get 2 to have better sound and more bass this things sounds than my Sony micro maybe cause it only has 50 watts and this 80watts I even connect my dj mixer to both speakers I made a few parties at my backyard with both speakers people was like wow beautiful speakers and they sound good with bass I know they do sound good 👍😎

I didn't realize how tinny and awful the sound output on the original Echo was until we replaced it with the Studio. It was a sonic upgrade far beyond what I was expecting. Just wow. I love it because it's like having speakers IN the shower. My friend likes it because the music is so loud that she can no longer hear me singing. So that's a win-win.

Nothing sounds muffled for me, not near as much as the Sony ones when you set the bass up. These speakers sound amazing as hell.
