@@ThemeParkWorldwide they sure are, and in the netherlands you can add trams to the mix too since they are a sort of mix between train tracks and bus-like closer spaced stops :)
Hi TPW, these travel VLOGs are invaluable to us as a family. My son loves his coasters and we did an adapted version of your Denmark trip last year. Moving from European city breaks to multi centre trip using public transport can be quite daunting but using your videos gives us the confidence to have a go ourselves. This trip may be a contender for out next holiday.
You make foreign travel look so easy and I guess that’s where the internet is so convenient to check your route, bus and train connections. Enjoy your trip guys.
How nice that my hometown Utrecht made a cameo! Avid public transport user myself, it's relaxing and good for the planet! Nice to see a video like this and I hope you two had a wonderful time in this crazy country of ours.
Heeyy Shawn & Charlotte! 🤗 -And welcome back in the Netherlands! Wish I could meet you both in de Efteling. Winter Efteling is wonderful! ❄️✨ I'm going to celebrate new years eve there. Have a joyful time- Cheers!
Love the vlog guys. We did a lot of this journey the other way around in the summer when we flew into Amsterdam and got the train down to Phantasialand. Thanks for the reminder to edit that travel vlog!
Hi shawn and Charlotte great travel vlog really good to see how you can do it with out a car . Really enjoying this trip so far looking forward to seeing the next vlogs. Thanks for sharing with us love to you both as always Tracey 💕 xxxx
What another informative interesting travel vlog with different travel options prices times as well. I’ve always wanted to visit the netherlands for a mini get away break looks like such an awesome very special place for you both. Would you consider doing a Christmas Holiday vlog over at Lapland in Finland in the near future that would be very interesting. Thank you sharingthis vlog was sooooo relaxing satisfying. Did anyone notice the DPD Pärcel Delivery can lol 😆😆😆😆😆
These travel vlogs are so handy for future reference. Shawn, would love to hear your thoughts on Bob Iger being back at Disney and the new Merlin CEO....what this might mean for Merlin going fwds?
Iger began all the price increases, maintenance issues, etc. that people complain about now. Also, in 15 years as CEO, he never picked or had in place a true succession plan. He seemed to drive away anyone that looked like they were being prepped for that role. Then, he left suddenly and picked Chapek to helm. Neither Iger nor Chapek visit a park unless it's a PR move. To me, I'm not really sure why some people think it's great he's back. He won't bring back all these things that have been cut. He'll do maybe one thing to have people hail him and that'll be it.
I know you are probably back to England either yesterday, today or tomorrow so I hope you had a great time! I went off to CWOA yesterday and the amount of stuff happening on the world of Jumanji is insane
Another interesting video, cheers for showing travel between parks, really useful information especially if interested in travelling by train, plane or coach. You both done and still doing an amazing job showing your journeys and how easy it can be. Keep it up and look forward to in future seeing more like this? Would you do an USA version? Travel around on public transport in the USA to and from parks & resorts? I mean ones far away in distance and not in just one area like Orlando? Be interesting to see that? Or do a video for public transport in the UK to various theme parks? As most people I think drive in their own cars to parks and resorts in the UK, not many travel via public transport? Would you make a series featuring travel/public transport via UK Theme Parks? Be a good video I think, help those who don't drive and rely on public transport to get around places. By the way good video, really again enjoyed and can't wait for the next video. 😀👍
I'm glad you know your way around Europe on public transport Shawn. If it was me i would probably get completely lost & with not being able to speak German at the moment (but am trying to learn German) or not able to speak Dutch i would probably also have problems asking for directions. Nice travel vlog though.
It's interesting you had to back out from Utrecht. There is some more local stuff to Eindhoven, but I guess going through there would be better for reaching Toverland from Phantasialand (or Movie Park Germany)
Hi, know I asked before but the times you have driven from park to park, do you stop in between? Also any good off site accommodation recs for a family 8 near phantasia?
The moment you see yourself passing by in the back of your video at the Efteling entrance, after putting something in the car at the parking lot. "I"m famous now"😄
Excellent travel vlog, Shawn and Charlotte from Phantasialand in Germany to Efteling in The Netherlands via public transport! These are the two biggest theme parks in Europe and are both amazing parks to check out on a European theme park trip. In this vlog, we share our full journey including busses and trains between the two parks along with taking in some great views along the way! I cant wait to see the video from Efteling park on the channel. Keep the good videos coming on the channel both of you.
Are there any other parks with dark rides on the level or europa and Efteling? Outside Disney and universal they seem the two elites on themed dark rides
@@ThemeParkWorldwide They are pretty high on my bucket list now I think I would just do them at separate trips and stay good for five days and each one seeing how I didn’t have no clue when I would ever get back
Shawn have you ever used the app ‘get around’? I use it on my Europe trips typically hire a car for €35 with no deposit etc and don’t even need to meet the owner just unlock the car with your phone and base myself in cologne when doing phantasialand and Efteling and toverland etc :)
I looked has changed since the last time you've been there to Chessington the world of Jumanji. Roller coaster tracks nearly complete and a small rides started to be installed now with loads more theming.
Thank you for joining us! Watch our day one vlog from Efteling here ➡️ th-cam.com/video/YUFXkfvpCAc/w-d-xo.html
as dutchy, it makes me proud to see the public transport being this amazing
It’s fantastic. The trains and buses are very efficient!

Fun vlog seeing the public transport. This is great info that a lot of channels don't cover in depth.
Thank you! We like to try our best to cover the public transport options for the parks!
You make foreign travel look so easy and I guess that’s where the internet is so convenient to check your route, bus and train connections. Enjoy your trip guys.
Thank you! It’s pretty straight forward now thanks to various different websites and apps!
you can also travel from koln to monchengladbach , swap train to Venlo, and from Venlo to Denbosch.
It’s so weird seeing you travel with the regional train I have to take to go to uni lol
Love that! We do really enjoy seeing the transport across different countries!
Hi Shawn & Charlotte, I hope you're having a lovely time at Efteling.
It's so good to see you back. I can't wait to watch the vlogs. ❄🍄✨
Thank you! Our Efteling vlogs will be on the way across the next few days!

Love the Netherlands park vlogs, when will you be next visiting Toverland, i love the vlogs from that park!
An Efteling vlog! Been waiting for this for a long while! :D Hope you enjoyed your stay :)
Thank you!
s-Hertogenbosch translates to The Dukes' Forest. But Dutch people usually call it Den Bosch for short.

Went through that city on my cycling trip in the Netherlands in the summer. Everyone I mat called it "Den Bosch" which made it easier!

Personal opinion but i find it handier to go from tilburg to efteling instead of S'hertogenbosch haha
Connections are a bit easier from tilburg.
We considered this however the times worked out better for us going this way!
Hello from uk. Im all.snowed in
