OK. I found everything but the software keeps creating a 1 kb file that doesn't work. What am I doing wrong?

Not sure. You would have to describe or record the entire process to troubleshoot. My guess is that you are saving the wrong file, which is actually empty.

After editing/segmenting the image, whenever i process the image in model maker I receive volume is not 3d error. Any clues which step/what leads to this?

Can you suggest any good extension for full/semi-automatic liver segmentation?
    Thank you!

Hello, great tutorial! Is there a way to export the volumes to a txt file?

I just found out. After you go to Segment Statistics, when you go Save, it appers a new file called Table with all the volume stats.

How do you know which volume and surface area to use?

how would you calculate the volume of a tumor if there was a tumor on top of the liver? Would you have segment the tumor and liver separately?

    • @janwitowski

Hi Phaedra, yes, you need to simply create two separate segments (as shown in the previous parts of this tutorial) and segment tumor and liver separately. Then the Segment Statistics module will show volumes for each of the segments.

@@shivaprasadkolur8300 Slicer 4.10.2 has Segment Statistics module just as shown in the video. It is located in Modules menu. I am not familiar with CPI, you might have to look for tutorials on it elsewhere or ask on official Slicer Discourse.
