Glad to see you re-useing the rear brake cable. I hate it when the video vlogers get te cutters out and destroy almost new cables. Mostly because they have deals with backers/sponsers. Also ref the burr on the cables ,i always use an angle grinder with a 1mm slitting disc in it,it takes less than 1second to cut so minmal heat, also use the same on the inner cable , nice clean cut and no fraying.
@@Velocipedium Found your Cresswell video....a new bike to me. First impression is it looks like a kids MTB. It would be interesting to compare to the 20. As you point out, it's a limited 'hand built' machine and clearly has a higher spec. But is it substantially (real world) better than a 20?
What number tooth rear sprocket did you fit. I fitted an 18t sprocket when I put BMX wheels on my Twenty. I also fitted new black brake cables. I am toying with the idea of fitting 1970's cowhorn handlebars instead of the normal riser handlebars. I havent riden mine yet. Dont know if I will as my hand is playing up and I cant grab anything tightl I wont go doctors about it because the muppet will give me a diagnosuis of haveing a stye in my eye. My doctor is useless. lol.
@andywalker7582 Thank you Andy Walker. I can start saving up for one then. Does the Raleigh Twenty have both types of gears, the twist grip & the gear trigger shifter...? Sorry for bombarding you with questions, but it's just part of the process of learning about them isn't it...?
Great job Rowan those panniers look well match the bike
That little shopper turned out a treat, really beautiful. Good tips on the cables.

The ugly duck became a Swan! Remarkable what a few tasteful aesthetic tweaks can do. One of the nicest 20's I've seen, well done Rowan.
It’s also the best riding 20 I have ever experienced, and it has set my expectations for the Shopper!
However the p/ex is something special.
Have I mentioned i own a Creswell Fold It?

I also want to try the Bobbin interpretation. I’ve never met anyone who has one though.
@@Velocipedium Bobbin?
Nicely done!
Lovely colours
Looks great! 👍🏼
Nice one Rowan😊
Do a video on paint restoration!
Yes I’m planning that with the double Elizabethan renovation, because some sneaky colour blending will be involved. The 20 was too easy

It's a 20 tooth, I believe.
Hello Velocopedium. I am 5' 10" is a Raleigh Twenty large enough for someone of my height...?
Yes
Hello, 'm the owner of this lovely bike, and I'm 6'2" so you'll be absolutely fine on a Twenty.
@andywalker7582 Thank you Andy Walker.

Most have twist grips but some have trigger. I have no idea which models or years have which.
So you no longer want to swap this for my green Stowaway then?
I thought we were going to arrange to meet halfway for the exchange....
Sadly the geography just couldn’t be resolved, as I said in my email
Certainly not drivel, Row…
