    I made this for a New Year friends gathering. The creams are really fantastic
    In particular, the strawberry and salted caramel cream was by far the best 👌 👍

    I had to convert the ingredients from grams to cups and teaspoons. Here is this version for people that don't have a scale:
    1/2 cup milk
    1/3 cup water
    0.25 (1/4)stick of butter
    1/8 cup of granulated sugar(I accidentally doubled the amount of sugar needed because I thought I saw 80g)
    2.25 tsp dry yeast(I used baking powder with the same measurement)
    2.5 cups bread flour(I used all purpose)
    When I rolled up the crossoints I left them out for 1 hour then placed them in the fridge overnight but they didn't poof up. I researched how many baking powder shouldI use instead of dry yeast and it said use it in a 1:1 ratio but it didn't rise. Baking powder activates from moisture and heat so the only option left is to just pop it in the oven. The croissants started to rise after being in the oven. I left them in there too long but they still came out great.
    For the chocolate Ganache, I just used a whole chocolate with some milk and flour to thicken it.

      Duh it will not rise if you put the wrong ingredients and double the amount

    • @LetsStella

      You could use all purpose flour
      However, the texture of the croissant may vary

    • @LetsStella
      @LetsStella  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Kiran🥰 Thanks for watching
      I made it with aluminum foil and the size is 9 cm

    • @gibranfawwaza8700
      @gibranfawwaza8700 ปีที่แล้ว

      is it the diameter 9cm? n how about the tall? may i know the size?

    • @CindyEsquivel-mw3mu
      @CindyEsquivel-mw3mu 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      9 cm is equal to almost 4” So I’m pretty sure that would be 4” across (once you form the circle) because a 4” long strip of aluminum foil wouldn’t be long enough to make a circle.

    I moved in Italy and I am so confused when it comes to flours, they have 00, 0, Manitoba and many many more. Could you tell me which one I should use? Or if you can tell me the protein your flour contains. I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks 👏👏😋

    • @GodessAlana
      @GodessAlana ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Generally it’s best to use flour that contains 11% protein I believe that’s the equivalent to bread flour here in the US

    Hi can I use all purpose flour in place of bread flour ?😊

    • @patel-hiral
      @patel-hiral ปีที่แล้ว

      Bread flour is also one type of all-purpose flour but with high gluten (>11.0% gluten).

    I'm making this right now and I question the measurements of the rectangle. 20x40cm mine seems way smaller than what's shown here. Unless it's just to give an idea of what to do. And not the size that matches the ingredients. I dunno.

    This is NOT the proper method for croissant. No narration makes this video worthless!

    • @solunastra9497
      @solunastra9497 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      it may not be the “traditional” or “proper” but it is definitely more manageable for people who don’t want to dedicate their life to a bread. chill tf out LMAOOO
