U were at the "Donauinsel". In June there is a Festival on the Island. It's for free, there are more than 25 stages and Stars like Aura Dione, Hurts, Zucchero or Falco have been there. Usually there millions of People on the Island having a Party and a great time for 3 days. Lucky u, by the way, normally the Prater is full of People... :) Like ur Video
That tower in Augarten is actually a Flak-Tower, built during WW2, they had mounted a couple of heavy anti-aircraft guns and searchlights on the platform, plus they provided shelter for civilians during the bomb-raids. Glad you liked my hometown, a special place indeed !

I think it's the Hundertwasser's building that you crossed, the one with the mosaic. Hundertwasser was an ecological artist, and there is some grass on the roof for isolation purpose or something like that. If I remember well, Hundertwasser finished his life in New Zealand. I love his Art!

I went there as part of a study abroad I did one summer. We wanted to go on the ferris wheel, because it is featured in the movie The Third Man, which we studied as part of our class, but it was too expensive. Your shot from the giant swings was lovely.
The place in New Zealand was probably also built by Hundertwasser because he had an affinity for the country, retired there and built a few things there, including one public toilet if I'm not mistaken.

Yes Evan! Thank you for always mentioning tall people problems. Seriously not quite fitting into things is the bane of my life. I'm about 6'2 so its a genuine struggle sometimes. How do you cope with as many flights as you do? Plane seats usually leave much to be desired in regards to legroom... We have had to pay extra in the past for priority boarding and stuff JUST so we can have seats with extra legroom. it's a nightmare! Also Vienna looks beautiful. totally adding it to my places to visit list!

Wanderlust Estate to be honest, he's been to most of them. The Schönbrunn palace is really interesting, it's HUGE but to be honest, i enjoyed the park behind it a lot more. There's a zoo and a palm house for instance. Actually, thinking about it, i'd recommend seeing everything Evan went to see, but also you can just get lost walking around in the city. Vienna is absolutely beautiful. If there's anything specific you're interested in i'd request dropping by tourist information. :D
Evan, could you make a video explaining more about how hostels work? I'm very curious. I know they're cheaper and you pay by the bed, but I'm wondering how you keep your stuff safe from other people and what the bathrooms are like, etc.
it's actually always full but you were in vienna when exams time was and midday, on summerholiday (july and august in austria) it's always full :) and mostly on thursdays to Sunday its full and that chauffeur schule thing is called auto scooter in german :)

The Tower u saw was a WW2 bunker with Anti Air Cannons on top of it, one of them were made into a museum with living sea creatures. Did u actually try the original "Wiener Schnitzel" or "Schnitzel Wiener Art" ? There's a huge difference in it :P One is Calf Meat the other is mostly Pork but can be Chicken aswell. Edit: The Island you saw in the Danube River was actually made artificially in 1972 - 1988 and houses Concerts and Festivals every Year.

That big concrete thing in the park, I think it's a gun emplacement/fortress built by the Nazis. There are three similar things in Berlin that act as a triangle to protect it, originally from bombing raids but towards the end of the war just as a last stand. After the war, the French tried to destroy one of them with explosives but failed so they've just been left.
