Speaking as a parent who lost a child, I’m so glad your son is okay. What a blessing.
I second that.. lost my 17 year old son last year. Don’t wish it upon my worst enemy
@@TimothyAmiot-zr8ec My heart is with you my friend. ❤️
@@dwjr5129 thank you 🙏
@@dwjr5129 I'm so sorry, I cannot...even imagine. They are so precious to us as parents!

Prices are annoying and it's always makes me mad when it's low, but the food on the shelf are getting more expensive. Then people start to blame us, farmers, like we are the ones who say how much we sell our crops for. Meanwhile there is a lot of middlemen before it's end up on their table.
People really need to know how farming works. It's not like any other business. Most businesses you buy at wholesale and sell at retail prices you set. Farming you buy at retail and then sell at wholesale at what someone is willing to pay you. You don't set your price other so. It's a gamble. There is a podcast a Few points from perfect. They had a farmer on it he explained it pretty good. Framing is just high-stake gambling. You borrow a million dollars and then throw it in the ground and hope you get enough in the fall to make a profit.
PREACH! 💯 spot on@@johnunsicker7440
The crop prices have not kept pace with inflation since I was growing up on a farm 35 years ago. I would watch the prices every day on the news as a teenager and realized farming is not for the faint of heart.
Agreed. Unfortunately, we live in a world where farmers are the Price-takers, not the Price-setters. So the middlemen will come in and try to beat farmers around the bush. The fruit growers in Australia are a clear example of that, supermarkets locked them into a contract then turned round and changed the price on them. A good chunk of them had to dump their oranges, 7 huge piles because it wasn't worth harvesting.
Funny how weather and nature determines 40 bushels N Montana hour away South Saskatchewan 125 plus bushels 🙀
So good to hear your boy is fit & well again, as you're probably well aware those types of things can go bad very quickly & as a parent the worry & anxiety is horrendous. Many thanks to. Dad & Scott for keeping the harvest on track & are thankful that the whole family are good & are all together at Welker farm 🚜.
HiNick, very pleased that your son is okay. I actually work for the manufacturer of the paediatric bronchoscopy equipment that is used for foreign body retrieval. It’s a pleasure to promote that equipment as it is literally life-saving. Anyway, glad he’s okay.
Nick, I'm so glad your son is ok. God is good. Nothing is more important than our loved one's health. God bless.
Very glad your son is good Nick. I do hope you get good yields on the crops. Stay safe and healthy.
Thanks for another great video Welkers. It was interesting and enjoyable to watch.
Nick and family: sorry to hear about your son and the medical situation. Wonderful to hear that they were successful in removing the peanuts from his lungs. God was watching over him and you as a family!!!!! My blessings to you and your son and so pleased he is recovering. ❤
Thanks to Scott and Bob for all of their explanations on a variety of things. Scott you were doing a lot of things with Nick being gone. Scott you did great with the Apache sprayer, you got the job done-yeah!!!!!
Thanks to Scott for explaining the new and updated grain auger system. Super nice rig and great updated to the system. Nice rig. You did a great job of keeping the trucks running and running the combine also. You had a busy busy time with Nick being gone with his son. Hang in there Scott.
Was very nice of you Scott❤!!!!!!!!!!
Glad you had your sons in the combine with you for a while. They will always remember that time with you in the combine. ❤
Bob , I sincerely appreciate your rundown of the crop production statistics. Some of your crops are doing good compared to last year-yeah!!!!!!!!!!!
You folks are due for some seriously better crops!!!!!! Didn’t see Colby on this trip but knew he was with you.
Bob do sincerely appreciate the in depth analysis of your crops this year and how things are going. I know I speak for all of the Welker followers that we want you all to have a good year for the Welker families!!!!!!!!!! Am trusting God will give you all a good year!!!!!!!!!!
Bob, I am, as you know an Iowa person, and you explaining the pea crop and spring and winter wheat crops and the lintels (spelling?) is really appreciated. We were corn and soybeans, so your crops are kind of foreign to me. Yes I know what they are but not in depth knowledge, so you taking the time to educate us on your crops is so valuable!!!!!!! Thanks so much Bob, I have great respect for you and your family and your farming operation!!!!!! Bless you sir.
Nick, glad to see you back and going again on the farm. As I said earlier, glad your son is ok and recovering.
Guess that is it for now. Sorry I got long winded today, will slap my typing hand-ha!!!!!!
You all take care and be safe. Thanks for everything.
Sending my blessings and prayers to you for more moisture. May God watch over you all!!!!!!!!’

Enjoy yourselfs at the farm progress show in Boone Iowa.
Wish I could see you there but health prevents it.
People will love to see you all. Enjoy.
The Iowa farm boy. Steve
Wish you could be there also steve. Thank you for those kudos 👍🙏
your dad reminds me so much of my father. Farmers think alike. He was so much thinking wise with chats about farming with me as a kid 50 years ago.
Love that the kids like to ride along. Future farmers! Nick, so glad your son is OK. I could feel the emotion in your voice. God Bless.
Here I thought Nick was slacking and he had a family emergency! Glad the lil' feller is okay!! And Roscoe & Reilly are cute as the dickens! Even though the crops aren't yielding well, but better than last year. Blessings to all the crew!
Glad to hear your little one is doing good after inhaling the peanuts. Couldn't imagine the scare. My boy and I love watching you guys. He has learned alot and sees why food prices are going up with all of the hard work and sacrifices you farmers put in. Thank you all for what you do and for helping put food on our tables.
Kids are so cute! And growing!! Glad the harvest is better then last year! Thats a blessing.
Leg arms Rosco and Raleigh are so cool. Your a great dad. As is Nick and your dad. God bless ya.
My favourite farming channel! Go Welkers! God bless you all!!!!
Nick so glad your boy turn out ok! God bless.
Super happy to hear your son got taken care of!
Three generations of Welkers in the combine! I’m happy to hear Nick’s boy is doing well.
Thank God Nick that your son is ok. Scary times. Hope all is ok and hope that harvest goes well considering the weather. Happy harvest for the abnormal year and hope things improve.
It appears that harvesting is going good. I hope you will be blessed to get some better commodity prices in the future.
Always enjoy seeing the family and I am glad things worked out for Nicks son...God Bless.
so glad things turned out good for your son
Praying for your families, your crops, and for bumper pricing so that you not only survive but thrive. Very happy to hear that your son is fine after that kind of emergency!
The word you were looking for is aspirated. I was a Speech Pathologist for 22 years, specializing in chewing & swallowing disorders. I’m so glad they were able to remove them from his lungs. Aspiration is loosely defined as a foreign object lodging in the lungs(breathing something in vs swallowing it) Sounds like that’s what happened to the poor guy. Got startled & took a big breath. If not removed it could lead to aspiration pneumonia. I’m so happy to hear they were able to remove all of it! Benny Johnson’s (a podcaster)1 year old somehow inhaled pieces of yellow crayon. When the scope tried to remove it, it kept melting. A specialist came in & was able to get it all. Scary stuff. It happens a lot with little kids, mostly from putting stuff up their noses. Praise God both kids are ok!
Great video guys,Nick Thank God your son is doing better, Legarm your son's are very nice young boys and always nice to see Mr Welker and Colby. God bless you guys 🙏
Nice to see your sons riding in the combine with you LegArms
Wow, thank you for the update on your boy! God is good and so thankful to hear about the successful procedure and safe travel. Thank you for sharing the harvest videos...love it.
Just drove from Seattle back to Niagara Falls Canada and took the opportunity to run a bit north out of Spokane to see what your landscape is like. WOOWWW its just simply beautiful up in the north of Montana there. "whistles"
To Denver for that, wow! Thanks heaven all went well. Far more important then anything else! God bless!
Great job running the combine Bob
Our farmers haven't even started harvesting anything yet. I expect they'll start harvesting corn very soon. Eastern North Carolina. Corn, tobacco, soybeans, sorgram are the primary crops grown, with some sweet potatoes and strawberries in the Spring. They used to grow peanuts but that was before I moved here 18 years ago.
Glad your son is alright Nick 🙏🙏
You all are awesome! I'm praying for you all to always be safe, blessed, and healthy!
Always scary when your child has an emergency situation, glad it turned out OK. We travel US2 every summer and it was amazing to see how short your small grains are. It is hard to tell from the highway sometimes whether a field has been cut, but also hard for this midwesterner to know what some of the crops are. Wheat is easy but it looks like some other sorts of cereal crops that are different colors and some have beards. I did not see anything that looked like beans or peas along 2, did see some of what looked like canola. Good luck with harvest, hope you find some better yields.
So glad that your son is ok Nick, I think I read somewhere that peanuts are dangerous as they can begin to mold so besides being a foreign object that mold issue is what can make them dangerous. You guys are blessed that your children are pretty healthy from what i've seen in the videos and they seem pretty happy also .
Glad Nick has good news on his son, Leg-arms we have the smoke from North America and we are in western UK. Its been a challenging year hear too, wet cool Spring and Summer, hardly two dry days together. Keep fighting the good fight guys.
That's great news about your son Nick!
Nick I'm glad to hear that your son is doing okay
Nick I had something similar happen to me with huge vitamin D pill. Long story short after hours of coughing (I couldn't stop) many chunks came out and the rest dissolved. I ended up with a hernia. Praise God all went well. It's good to see you guys harvesting . So good your family just works harder to pick up tge slack.
Thanks for the videos, glad your son is okay!
The yields may not be as high as it was in bumper years, but at least you guys have a crop that's clean, even and puts the big bins through their paces. As my Dad says, "Farming builds character" because every spanner in the works be it droughts, floods, fields so wet you cant go 2 feet without getting the tractor stuck, high or low commodity prices, or even all the cantankerous machinery only a mechanical genius like Leg Arms to get working right.
It's quite amazing to see how your part of the world is already harvesting, yet meanwhile, here in Western Australia, we're still having most crops in our area trying to come into ear.
Also, the interactions between Leg Arms Raley and Roscoe made me chuckle, the boys are gonna grow up to do great things like their dad.
And Nick, I'm extremely glad to hear your son's ok!
Will be having you guys in my prayers, God bless Welkers!
Great job running the combine LegArms
What a differance a hundred miles makes, Zeorian Harvesting & Trucking you tube is cutting 100 bu winter wheat in Highwood Mt.
Thank you for share your harvest up date . It’s so wonderful to see Scott and his children ride along . It great all of your family works o. The farm . God Bless
Growing up my dad and I would use a scythe to cut weeds. It newer ran out of juice, but had to be sharpened from time to time.
Nothing like seeing the next generation, especially a father and son at the beginning... Nick, 🙏🏽 🙏🏽 🙏🏽prayers for your son... Thank God... 🙏🏽 🙏🏽 🙏🏽
🚜 🚜 🚜
Glad to see harvest going well. Hate to see commodity prices going south!
New video. Great and thanks. God bless from Tennessee!
Awesome video guys. Thank you very much
When you bought the International,a getting it loaded onto the trailer, That was the first video of yours that I watched. Been here with you every sense.
My first ride in a combine was at eight years of age in 1954, and I still remember the thrill.
These video’s incoming more regularly are the best! Been waiting years for it 😆

Awesome guys.
Great video LegArms and Bob
You all are amazing
I don’t know how far y’all are from Hollywood MT but I watch a video and there winter wheat was cutting over a 100 bushel.‘They must have got better rain than y’all. Just wondering!! God bless y’all buddy. Love watching y’all videos!! From La .😁🙋🏼♂️👍
your harvest goes fast. In Texas our corn silage should start in a month then its corn, Grain Sorghum, and cotton in December. Our irrigated wheat averaged 110 bu/ac but dryland made less than 10 bu.
glad your Boy is ok
Good luck combining your 2024 crops Welker Farms
Glad the kiddo is OK. Was concerned there for a bit.

Great job spraying LegArms
GOD BLESS FARMERS & FAMILES! ❤❤❤
Blessings to you and your family. With Aloha...
Appreciate the Aloha from those beautiful Islands.
Super glad that Nick's youngest Son is OKAY THANK YOU JESUS....Scott's two Sons Rosco & Raley with Dad.....Thank you guys.....
Old F-4 Pilot Shoe🇺🇸
Yes low yield reflects off of lack of rain n lots of sun but would it also be a reason because of “recycled” grain? Planting seeds from what was grown last year?
You guys deserve an upturn here soon
Another video. Great. 😂
Thanks and God bless from Tennessee!
I just realised that I haven't seen any of those really cool drone shots that Nick normally does!! I was wondering what was wrong with your harvesting videos this year?!?!?!?! Please could you add some drone work? Please?????? 🥺
Drone footage will make its return in the next video!
@@WelkerFarms Woo Hoooooo!!!!! 😊
That's great news about your son Nick
Awesome video! Nice weedeater!
I had a peanut in my lung when I was 5 years old. I was eating peanut brittle and watching Captain Kangaroo while rocking in my little rocking chair. Mr. Green Jeans did something funny and I laughed and sucked air at the same time. I almost died as my lung collapsed and I ended up with pneumonia. There is scar tissue in my lung still and I have a little anxiety even today when I eat peanut brittle. Glad your son is ok.
@@charlesruble9589 oh my...thankful you are okay! We waited a few days but when the wheezing didn't go away it became apparent he needed scoped. Scary stuff!
that sounds ljke my old harvest routine.
Now that the new blue Pete has pulled loaded how did the brackets between the engine and the radiator work out. That was an interesting way to secure the top of the radiator. That is a good looking truck.
Thanks
Montana kids are tough. The future of Welker farms is bright. Lots of kids learning and they've long ago told John Deere to F off. They know how to repair their own equipment.
Hi guys how many pounds to the bushel In Aussie we talk metric tonne to the hectare or it used to be Bags to the acre Yes the grain prices are ordinary All the best with it 🍻
Wheat is 36bushel per tonne
I know how painful it is to have obstructions in the lungs. Hurts like the dickens as I did it about eight to ten years ago, an accident for sure but very painful. Glad your boy is okay Nick, I wondered why "Nick" went missing... wish ya had went fishing/LOL
Happy Picking!😊
Nick glad the kids ok. And the yields are decent. Now your up against stupid low prices.
