The Frosted containers with the silver tops was my favorite I am so sorry to hear about sweet little Wryn. ❤ give her hugs from a grandma she didn't even know she has in New Mexico period
The nest and the three frosted jars with lids were my favorite. I love watching your shopping trips. I'll pray for Wren and her eyes, I didn't know about her problem. It sure doesn't slow her down any does it. 🙏🥰
Julie, I am LOVING this new channel and the daily thrifting videos!!! Those candle holders are amazing and definitely my favorite of today's finds. But, you found quite a few awesome items that I would have picked up as well. Oh! And I totally understand the "need to rescue", especially the vintage/antique things that are headed for the landfill! I cringe when I think of all the things that have survived this long, only to end up in Goodwill's trash compactor and other thrift store's dumpsters. Kim
That old butter mold!!!!! Oh my! What a great find. Lovin that birds nest looking basket. So sad to hear about poor little Wryn. Praying the patching each day really helps. God bless all of you, see you next time. Ohhhh yes, I’m really enjoying this new channel. ❤😊❤😊🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I love all your shoping trips, you always find amazing stuff. My favorites this time were the elephants and the candle holders. You should absolutely have taken that doll!!!
I think the set of 3 glass jars with the metal lids is my fav, and I really like the Santa and the butter mold too. But y’all, that basket/bird nest looking thing???? Lol…I ain’t seeing what y’all see in it. Hahaha. But that’s what makes the world go round, right? We are all different. Prayers for Wryn🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Poor Wryn. I wore a patch as a kid too. I hope all Works out for her. She’s a cutie! I recently found Your videos. Binging on them! Love your ideas. Looking forward to my first sale next month!
Love the candlesticks, the metal Santa face, and the basket that looks like a large bird nest. With the basket, I'd use decorative mosses and perhaps include some pretty greenery or florals of some sort depending on the season. You could also add decorative miniature figurines of animals or fairies or whatever your imagination comes up with. That basket has so many possibilities! It's hard to believe those candlesticks were at the bins. I'm so glad you were able to rescue them. Your basket was filled with some great finds.
Good luck with wryn and her eye. I went through the same with my son when he was three. Patching is a struggle but it does work. My son has sight in both eyes now.
My son went through the patching of one eye. We fought with him. We found out when he was 17 that the eye was actually underdeveloped. He had been to 2 or 3 different eye doctor, and they never found this out. The patches would never have done any good. He cried, a fear of losing his good eye would make him blind. He is now 40, married, and 4 kids (2 adopted). One is autistic. He is a PA and works with children with ADHD and autism. I hope all goes well with your daughter's eye.
Your a good mom! Use those positive reinforcements! Patching is a B to the itch! Good on you for finding a way to make the experience more positive! She will see a improvement in her vision eventually which will make it easier on the both of you.
