She did say she picked up improved critical in addition to these, thanks for the update though... will be picking up this dvd the next chance I get if only to check out the extras!
A munchkin seeks within the context of the game to amass the greatest power, score the most "kills," and grab the most loot, no matter how deleterious their actions are to role-playing, the storyline, fairness, logic, or the other players' fun. So they seem to fit the definition perfectly. They just take feats that look powerful. They understand the game. They just don't strategize well in building their characters.
Wild Mage I believe its a prestige class in the Complete Arcane book, what i want to know is what class and feats did the female fighter take? I really MUST buy this movie!
Never played any D&D or world of warcraft... closest I've come is FF and Might and Magic (Clouds of Xeen baby!)... so I'm kind of a fringer here. But damn. That's sum funny shit. Laughed Long and Loud at "how many exp points for the farmer?" Thank you for bringing some mirth into my otherwise frustrating day!
yeah it seems a few of them have been renamed and slightly re-worked. first strike is basicly cleave, critical moementum seems to be great cleave only they add int and dex bonuses and if you crit another attack it seems
I'm betting they had a 3rd party feat books like Ultimate Feats by Mongoose Publishing or AEG Feats Book. Since Lodge does check the characters prior, I'm confidant the books are approved for use in his games.
@CookiesfromHell Perhaps the edition being played matters? I have Improved Initiative with my Ranger. Every time Initiative is rolled, I get +4. County that, I have a +11 Initiative, with Hunter's Privilege. ^-^"
hi guys! precise strike is a duelist's class feat (DM's handbook), adding +1d6/2d6 dmg on 5th/10th level BUT: does anyone know the other feats mentioned? critical momentum (which sounds like a modified cleave) and first strike, and in which book they are to be found? those feats kind of confuse me ^^" thanks in advance!
@sirAthrus i would have asked if i get experience for banging the priestess... and the stat boosts of the farmers boots...and if his flesh can be used as spell components...
@mercyharding In our campaigns we really don't have a leader. We roleplay well, but whenever someone starts leading, decalring it or not, they tend to end up very dead very fast.
@kravann Sadly, even "pros" don't always build their characters the best. As a DM, I've seen experienced players take feats that are almost useless, while neglecting ones that would make them more effective in their roles. Improved Initiative should be mandatory if you are any sort of attacking class. Same with class specific feats, like the Ranger feat that adds Hunter's Quarry dmg in the same rd on action points. Build with the right feats, and you can even one-shot big bosses.
To be fair, I'd much rather have that sorta thing take place in the context of D&D than in real life. You ever tried the Desperado Bar trick in it yet?
Well, there are dome D&D online forums like The Tangled Web, you can visit games shops and see if there is anything there as well. since you havent played before, try out the 4th edition of D&D, its simple, quick and more like an MMO type game. if you find a group people who are looking for more players, make sure you join a low level campaign, they are easy to start with.
those Feats are kind of fake. there are some equivalents such as Cleave and Improved critical. But at most that would be a 16-20 crit range. However with a bab of +8 required for Improved critical plus accurate strike which adds dex mod to a weapon focused weapon, you can pretty much roll crits non stop and with cleave, you would be taking down two enemies per swing if you do enough damage.
One day I hope to hear a DM say that kind of line. "Could I steal it?" "Well, considering that its one of the holiest symbols of the church, and that the cathedral is swarming with paladins, that would most likely be suicide. GO RIGHT AHEAD."
@mercyharding um...right. Saving the universe.... Well i guess out of our twenty person group, its 50/50 on the people who are pillaging vs saving. Our next campaign is two parties, villians vs heroes.
And its educational if you want to play or run d&d too! Oh and don't do that to idols of evil gods, sometimes they do manifest under the control of certain dms...
She did say she picked up improved critical in addition to these, thanks for the update though... will be picking up this dvd the next chance I get if only to check out the extras!
The entire goblin scene was genius.
Man that takes me back. Nice monk stylies bro. Is that fighter babe wielding a spear as her main weapon?! Nooooooooice moves.
"Dear goblin-friends, dear goblin-friends, please hear my song!"
*dies*
Epic win!
@Valtharr It's not just the victory fanfare. The music during the entire battle is a remix of the FFIV boss battle theme.
This just made my day. Love it!
loving the final fantasy parody battle music in this and silence's comment at the end. " yea.. but can u tumble" pricless
*winning dance*
"that is who takes improved initiative!"
"yeah but can you tumble?"
Epic :)
Like the Final Fantasy battle music in the background after the goblin battle. :D
Complete Warrior is I believe the expanded source book she got those feats from, they're pretty cool.
I like that reference of the music in battle to final fantasy 4´s battle theme^^
Haha the final fantasy Fan Fare music playing at the end of the clip, that is freaking sweet.

i love how the monk puls out the light saber then a shott gun then a chain saw laghed my head off
Continue watching.
"Who is NOT an Elf,"
"AHHHH!"
Wild Mage I believe its a prestige class in the Complete Arcane book, what i want to know is what class and feats did the female fighter take? I really MUST buy this movie!
@taa347, they tend to move more than a rubber ball on a concrete surface.
Does anybody else notice the Final Fantasy victory tune at the end of the battle?
Never played any D&D or world of warcraft... closest I've come is FF and Might and Magic (Clouds of Xeen baby!)... so I'm kind of a fringer here. But damn. That's sum funny shit. Precise Strike is an archery feat never heard of the first two but I think that last one must be Improved Critical still an impressive sight!
yes, gamers 3 is coming out after JourneyQuest Sesaon 2 is released.
yeah it seems a few of them have been renamed and slightly re-worked. first strike is basicly cleave, critical moementum seems to be great cleave only they add int and dex bonuses and if you crit another attack it seems
When I play D&D, our Warrior always goes crazy: I always laugh when Gary asks for experience for the farmer. :D
Fun thing called, 'Homebrew'
Nothing beats it. It's the reason Rules Layers aren't loved all that much.
I'm betting they had a 3rd party feat books like Ultimate Feats by Mongoose Publishing or AEG Feats Book. Since Lodge does check the characters prior, I'm confidant the books are approved for use in his games.
gotta love the FF theme after the battle.

This is brilliant.
I seriously find it awesome how Johanna's character is the type of character I make/use in RPG'ies. XD
how accurate are the rules in this movie? particularly in RE: to daphnes wiping the floor with all the goblins
probably, she was incredibly Hacked. and with a SPEAR no less, x3 critical is insane with that threat range!
Flaming hand of firey doom?
Some kind of metamagic feat enhanced fireball spell?
Sorry has this question come up before?
That lady's the best Fighter I've ever seen, despite no STR bonus...
@KingNothing1082094 aparently there are goblins in mideval europe, when there are only humans in the game...apparently goblins are humans...
*sigh*
Too bad the other parts disappeared for no reason... 'cause this movie was awesome!

Ha, Final Fantasy victory theme. I'm so humming that after the first battle in my next game.
@sirAthrus i would have asked if i get experience for banging the priestess...
and the stat boosts of the farmers boots...and if his flesh can be used as spell components...
He was talking about - there was a hell-gate in one of these things!
why cant i see the rest these are excellent video do i have to subscribe to them?
I think your thinking of the DMG, and they said 3rd edition rules
@GaryHasGone what is red dwarf, and what did he say?
"That's who takes improved initiative!" anybody else see a nerd t-shirt that says that and a pile of dead goblins on the back?
Love the final fantasy victory theme
@Harbecht "Critical! Critical! Five foot step!"
@mercyharding In our campaigns we really don't have a leader. We roleplay well, but whenever someone starts leading, decalring it or not, they tend to end up very dead very fast.

is gamers 3 coming out? I WANNA KNOW! i study dnd and i have like 10 books and im in 4 different campaigns....and im 12.....
"A goblin of the moon you say?" "Indeed I do." "Well how do you worship a god of the moon?" "Ah, with my cute little tushie - An offering!" XD
just ordered the movie
I'm sad that they took the rest down :(
And Kev's roommate was Hunk, the mercenary the first gamers left for "ded".
"how much experience do I get for the farmer?" Haha, that's great!
To be fair, I'd much rather have that sorta thing take place in the context of D&D than in real life.
You ever tried the Desperado Bar trick in it yet?
The man who played Ambrose is the Paladin/DM
@Pgaither84 pathfinder is 3.5.
In theory you could in 3. Idk how effective it would Be :/ I know for a FACT you can do it in savage worlds.
what dose op mean? what about critical momentum? that isnt a real feat?
I'm a relatively new player so somene will have to enlighten me on why the heck being a bard explains the guy having a tomato....
@Timonze5022
The fighter laughs now, but when the Monk prestiges into Drunken Master with that Tumble skill we'll see who's laughing...
"And I'm pretty sure there was a hellgate in one of these things."
That's my new excuse for refusing to eat cabbage.
try over to the side there>>>>
there are other links with it up.. keep digging..
@Bobbo110 wha tis pc vs pc? and what game?
What happened to part 4. XD
holy crap, at 9:30 they played a variation of the Final Fantasy victory music! lol
"They are sooo angry."
"I wonder why we only farted on god!!"
It's soo cooool
I think they followed my old gaming group around for this story.
Wild Fire Mages... They just make a good DnD story a great DnD story...
improved crit, improved improved crit and I think a keen bastard sword.
Spears ftw. Polearms are underrated.
Awesome film btw^^
Her Ex was a gamer. So she probably had access to all his books. Since he is a rules lawyer, thats a wealth of knowledge and resources.
Wait... solid light? That makes no sense even in a fantasy rpg setting. Which made it hilarious.
Is part 4 supposed to work or is that the end of the free viewing? Great job anyway!:)
"Lighting bolt!"
"That will go off in two rounds."
"what? Why?"
"Magic,sex balls."
this is awesome
i don't know if that's 3.5 edition rules, they are playing 3.0, i've only played 3.5 so i wouldn't know, but you bring up a good point
Well, there are dome D&D online forums like The Tangled Web, you can visit games shops and see if there is anything there as well. since you havent played before, try out the 4th edition of D&D, its simple, quick and more like an MMO type game. if you find a group people who are looking for more players, make sure you join a low level campaign, they are easy to start with.
lol I love how the bard dies again
"If this is about that farmer, i totally thought he was a demon!"
those Feats are kind of fake. there are some equivalents such as Cleave and Improved critical. But at most that would be a 16-20 crit range. @ArchArturo What's wrong with the Fey pact?
is that the Final Fantasy winning Theme at 9:40 ?
My favorite line of this movie is "There so angry!" then the Paladin says "Oh I wonder why we only farted on God" XD
True to a point. Still, doesn't justify you killing somone just because you don't want your comrade talking to them.
@yousuckbendersgreat except improved initiative is a feat that only works once, and if you rolled low it still barely makes a difference.
Newmoon/Osric/Lodge looks really different without facial hair.
LOL... "Yeah, but can you tumble?"
"Where did you get that tomato ?.... Hello im a Bard!" LoL :P
My character is a hybrid bard, deals loads of damage, i can assure you, he doesn't die :P
@KiwamuTheKappa, hopefully the warlock is not the fey pact, right?.
"... Yeah, but can you tumble?"
Question of the day.
Part four.. the spell goes off and kills the bard...again. XD
One day I hope to hear a DM say that kind of line.
"Could I steal it?"
"Well, considering that its one of the holiest symbols of the church, and that the cathedral is swarming with paladins, that would most likely be suicide. GO RIGHT AHEAD."
lol final fantisy related music in the background
Why can't we see part four?! :(
@mercyharding um...right. Saving the universe.... Well i guess out of our twenty person group, its 50/50 on the people who are pillaging vs saving. Our next campaign is two parties, villians vs heroes.
@KingNothing1082094 No, and didn't he say it was an all-human-campaign?
i love the laugh at 6:16
9:38 Do I hear a Final Fantasy Battle Fanfarre?
And its educational if you want to play or run d&d too!
Oh and don't do that to idols of evil gods, sometimes they do manifest under the control of certain dms...
