I never cowash either. It serves no purpose to me, I don't give a dam what the community say. 😆😆 We must do what works for us and not what other ppl say to do. Alot of us follow trends. I'm that one who stays behind intentionally. I follow my own trend.
This was like hair washing ASMR. LOL! So relaxing and satisfying to watch. Also, self care! Putting in the extra work is worth it. I'm sure it makes you feel good taking the extra steps. I have waist length hair. I tend to brush and detangle before I shower. Your hair is gorgeous by the way.
I used to have hair down to my waist. I used to HATE washing it each week. So much hair shedding, detangling and warn out arms from washing, conditioning and deep conditioning in the shower. I would literally get overheated and would have to turn off the shower a few times to cool down and not pass out! LOL
But yall for me the more I wash my hair the more it grows after each wash I need a brush some hair grease and a cup of water or spray bottle and a real good leave in I am good until wash day again just repeating the cycle yeap now my hair is pass my bra or tits 😆
Girl aren’t your arms getting tired and sore after you’re done? Because my were of the length and the thickness 😩 Cuddos to your patients; beautiful hair. Twist outs never worked for me. Idk fake hair is really popular these days, lots of people wear wigs/have extensions.. If I ask you if your hair is real, it just means I like it, and I want to know how you achieved it. I'm seriously not asking about your race but geez, I guess I won't ask any questions about hair anymore. I didn't realize it was such an repugnant question to ask another female
@@carmengogeidnas9670 Yeah asking someone if their hair is real constantly is annoying, especially because shes a black woman with long hair, people love to make it seem like black women are "bald" and can't have their own healthy, long, real hair. You also have to consider that shes probably been asked this question so many times that it gets annoying.
@@BeansGarden-ff9ox that's what I'm realizing, it's probably best to say 'love your hair' and that's it. My college roommate was white Italian and she had the longest, most luscious curling hair. She got compliments on it all the time, but no one ever asked her if it was fake. If she was black, I bet people would have asked that. So I can see how the question has potential racial undertones. Until recently, I didn't even know that some black women have a hard time growing long hair. I don't think most white people know anything about it either, and they are only posing the question because they think wigs/extensions are more popular with black women. It's a very interesting topic, I would love to hear more about it and experiences from black women ❤️
I love that scalp scrubber, my eyes rolling back just thinking about it. TeeHee! Your fail is a win for me as I would have been finally achieving a healthy condition twist out. Your hair is gorgeous. I also put conditioner on my hair and throw on a plastic cap before I wash it because it allow whatever klumps or knott to work itself out much easier because I do a lot of neglect and usually just wet it and add some natural oils pull it back wrap elastic and put it in a bun and go. I was developing dreads underneath to my shock. Whoa child it was a mess. Thanks for sharing and blessing to you and all in the days to come.
Use coconut oil on your hair daily for about a week no longer than a month then deep conditioner your hair and use a leave in conditioner daily as well
Tea TV i use coconut oil & condition my hair (not as much as you said 😂), but i don’t deep conditioning as much . it just doesn’t seem to work good on my hair but thanks i’ll keep trying 💙.
iiam desss I feel you coconut oil has never really done anything beneficial for my hair so I usually stay away from it just do whatever you feel like works for your hair. And there’s nothing wrong with your hair if it doesn’t lay flat when you wash it that just means that your hair is much denser and likely a tighter curl pattern. Embrace it all natural hair is beautiful

@@JayHayes It's because a lot of people didn't know you when you entered the video and saw the title in Portuguese and when you spoke English we were like: what?
I don't deep condition either. When I've tried, it just never did anything for me. No matter the brand or home DiY's. I do like to do a tea rinse when I notice my hair is shedding more than usual and always works like a charm.
This makes me wonder if I should stop buying deep conditioners too. My hair is always dry but people tell me it's healthy, I buy all types of products but still dry 🤷♀️
I'm not convinced your hair is low porosity, there is such a thing as "medium porosity", and given how your hair responded to those products I think you're accepts things a moderate level and therefore can stay moisturized for longer with little effort. I've seen some one use the curling creme that has high porosity hair and I've used it and I have low porosity hair and your hair's response is closer to hers with high porosity. Also, your not needing deep conditioning or not seeing benefit from it doesn't follow for a low porosity person. I'm not saying this to attack you or anything! Just your video doesn't convince me that your labeling of your hair is correct. I'm not telling you what you're doing with your hair is wrong by any means. 🤗
Love your hair! I have a similar hair type, but shorter. My advice is to let it air dry overnight (at least 8 hours). Do your hair a couple of hours before bed, tie a silk scarf on after the mousse before sleeping on a satin pillow. When I do a wash ‘n’ go, most of the time it’ll take at least 6 hours to fully dry, and that’s with separated curls. My twist outs need even more time to dry. The benefit is that they trap on moisture, so it’s a great opportunity for curl creams/oils to sink into your strands. The longer they stay twisted, the better the definition. I hope you ended up trying again!
I’m so glad to see a page where someone finally shampoos once a week like I do !! But in my experience twist outs need to dry over night and Bantu knots need to be done on dry hair . Otherwise those things don’t work .
Can you do a video of how you grew your hair? And how many month or years did it took and can you also do a video of a washin go with a lot of volume and give us some tips of how to keep your hair healthy and strong and long ???? Thanks 😊
I honestly felt it came out beautifully! If this is a fail, I don’t know what a successful twist out wouldn’t even look like! Thank you for sharing, subscribed 💗💗
I NEVER co wash but I do deep condition. I am low porosity too. My favorite deep conditioner is Camille Rose Algae Renew. It absorbs instantly! If you ever want to deep condition it is the best for low porosity.
I’m glad you touched on not deep conditioning because it doesn’t work for you. This is exactly how I feel about hair oils and massaging my scalp. Your hair is healthy and you know it well. I think twist/braid outs are a Mack. I failed at both lol, so just stick to my wash n go.

I'm not black either but I have really long, straight, dry hair -- I thought this young lady was terrific! I picked up so many ideas from her. Thank you for the video. I love your slow soothing voice I could follow.
Your hair is beautiful and so incredibly strong . I didn't see any strands coming off . The fact that you can actually bomb, brush like this is mesmerizing to me . I no longer have all of the amount of hair I had in my teens and the weird part is I don't miss it . It's easier to manage, but the fact that Iblostvhalf of my hair and still losing hair kind of worries me . I use castor oil and coconut oil on my scalp and of course my hair too. I wash only once a week , and I use water to keep the frizz contained . It works , but I think I'm going to try some kind of gel. I've noticed it works on many ladies with curlier hair than mine. My problem is tangles and dry hair. Oil in my hair just disappears and water just stays on the surface unless I soak it and condition. It's too much hassle and I really don't have time or the energy to keep it at it's best . I recently cut it in long layers and cut it above my shoulders. There's less weight , but still a hassle and still dry and pouffy. All ,I do is comb out the tangles put something in it and braid it and twist it in a bun , and pin it down . The frizz ! Lord help me with the crazies and the nape of my neck ..... Is a whole other texture. I have three or 4 different textures in my head of hair. I don't know what else to do , but you seem to have it down to a science. I'm going to try your way on myself and my granddaughter, wish me luck and patience. Thank you for sharing your technique for caring for your hair. Lots of love and many blessing to you .

I never cowash either. It serves no purpose to me, I don't give a dam what the community say. 😆😆 We must do what works for us and not what other ppl say to do. Alot of us follow trends. I'm that one who stays behind intentionally. I follow my own trend.
lol me either. I did in the beginning when I didn’t know how to take care of my hair. I do however prepoo as it makes a major difference
Plush Furr I don’t even know what cowashing is. My end result is my hair is tangled, and it stays dry no matter how much I moisturize.
@@novembercherry4 same here
Yeah right ...I followed the natural hair community and it was a whole disaster for me 🤣🤣🤣 Back to the chemical my hair loves✌🏾
Plush Furr, I KNOW that’s right!! I’m definitely the same way💯
You may have thought it was a fail but there’s nothing about your hair that could ever be a ‘fail’. Ridiculously beautiful hair 🥰
Girl your hair is so healthy and beautiful! Your "fail" is my goals!😂😂😂
You have the longest hair! I thought your twistout turned out beautifully. I'll have to try doing flat twists in the front the way that you did.
You have such beautiful hair, I love the fact that you don't use loads of products and you make it simple
I used to have hair down to my waist. I used to HATE washing it each week. So much hair shedding, detangling and warn out arms from washing, conditioning and deep conditioning in the shower. I would literally get overheated and would have to turn off the shower a few times to cool down and not pass out! LOL
That is not a fail! That is HAIR GOALS!🙌🏾
But yall for me the more I wash my hair the more it grows after each wash I need a brush some hair grease and a cup of water or spray bottle and a real good leave in I am good until wash day again just repeating the cycle yeap now my hair is pass my bra or tits 😆
Don't feel bad. Your hair is so shiny with this combination of products!!!! It's so beautiful. Embrace it!
Girl aren’t your arms getting tired and sore after you’re done? Because my were of the length and the thickness 😩 Cuddos to your patients; beautiful hair. Twist outs never worked for me. I am over the natural hair journey. It is very time consuming and me personally don’t like anything that has to do with hair. If the shape of my head was nicely formed I would rock the Amber Rose hair style all day everyday. My head is shaped like a f$@!$ egg
Don't give up plsss i felt like that before but i just ignored it and i kept going now i love the results
Either you give up your time or your natural hair whatever you value more I’m with it
Christina Hayles in a video she said she wasn’t mixed. Both her parents are black.
Christina Hayles she isn't mix
Christina Hayles you literally said “she’s mixed with something” and “nice hair” comes in all textures and curl patterns. Nice hair is healthy hair
I don't co-wash either. It dosn't feel like it's clean to me.

Gorgeous Hair twin! I Love it!
I do this every week after washing, and the style stays until next wash day. (o:
Tip: Leave the twists in for a full day or two.. then unravel them gently and fluff!
I already know the phrases you hate the most are, "What are you mixed with?" and "Is that your real hair?!"
@@carmengogeidnas9670 seriously like if i ask that its meant as a compliment so let me say nothing at all tf?
@@carmengogeidnas9670 Yeah asking someone if their hair is real constantly is annoying, especially because shes a black woman with long hair, people love to make it seem like black women are "bald" and can't have their own healthy, long, real hair. You also have to consider that shes probably been asked this question so many times that it gets annoying.
@@amarahale9051 Yes. Say nothing at all
@@BeansGarden-ff9ox that's what I'm realizing, it's probably best to say 'love your hair' and that's it.
Your hair is lovely. I wish my “fails” were as beautiful as yours.
Right!
Your hair is everything its giving moisture and untangle..this was not boring at all i really enjoyed it
man people be washing their hair and it be flat & “thin” but i wash my hair & it’s still “thick” so i gotta wash it in hella sections 😭😭.
Same 😭 I be so confused how their hair gets so flat my hair wet is barely their dry 😭😭😭
Buddafli3 i swear 😩😂.
I like how that hair color looks blueish when it shines in some parts.
That's jet black ⚫
Your hair is gorgeous! Does not look like a fail to me girl!

@@JayHayes Hi Jay! They are not conplaining, theyre just making jokes about beeing confusing when clickin in the video cause you look a lot with a brazilian girl in the thunbnail.
@@JayHayes It's because a lot of people didn't know you when you entered the video and saw the title in Portuguese and when you spoke English we were like: what?
And it also had no subtitles in Portuguese so I couldn't understand the video.
I love how much time and attention she spends on her hair! Keep doing you!
Right. Her hair is super shiny and moisturized... I don't/won't believe it's low porosity.
Or it can both low and medium porosity
M M I said what I said she can have both low and medium porosity everyone has different hair and how it reacts
Here come the hair experts 🥴. Lol

Girl NO you’re hair is gorgeous! I love it such an inspiration 💕
AMEN AMEN..I #SO THE #SAME THING!!!💯🙏😇
Your hair is gorgeous and very healthy! My daughter's hair is the same way. So thanks for this video, it helps me a lot with they hair.

I NEVER co wash but I do deep condition. I am low porosity too. My favorite deep conditioner is Camille Rose Algae Renew. It absorbs instantly! If you ever want to deep condition it is the best for low porosity.
What is deep conditioning???
Thank you for an insight into your wash day. Lovely and inspiring. Stay beautiful sis.
Beautiful hair! I can't wait until my hair gets mad long like that.
If I had this hair, you wouldn't be able to tell me nothing! Gorgeous!
I’m glad you touched on not deep conditioning because it doesn’t work for you. This is exactly how I feel about hair oils and massaging my scalp. Your hair is healthy and you know it well.
I think twist/braid outs are a Mack. I failed at both lol, so just stick to my wash n go.

Not hardly a fail. Your hair looks great!

Your hair is so pretty!! Currently, on my natural hair journey. 6 months no heat!!
Congrats that’s a hugeee accomplishment I noticed the most health and growth when I did a year of no heat. It’s so worth it.
Galeria La thank you!! My plan is to go one year. 🙏🏽❤️❤️❤️
Mixed Mom Go for it, 2020 is the perfect year for it. You can always do heatless roller sets and waveformers to switch it up if you get bored. It’s been 6 months with no heat for me too but I might straighten it soon for a wedding
Galeria La Good idea!!! And good luck with flat ironing your hair. I think it is okay to flat iron once your hair is healthy if you take all of the proper precautions.
Congratulations
