  • Massive amounts of treasure is being found along this Florida beach that they call the treasure coast. Thanks Peter Tobia for showing me to this area and for taking me to the McLarty treasure museum.

Terry you have really done an incredible job of documenting the treasure coast story over the last few videos. It’s just content that us treasure hunters and people interested in history can’t get much of. Thanks as always. I know it isn’t easy.

Hey Aaron Andrews, I’m no expert but from what I hear you need to go out right after a storm and know what to look for so that he spend time in the areas that have a better chance of producing. Thanks for watching and commenting and good luck to you in the future and don’t give up.

Go after a storm. The storm will stir up the ocean and wash the treasure ashore. Good luck.

@@TerryCartertreasurehunter Minor beach erosion doesn't amount to much, Vero Beach has been replenished with tons of sand 8 out of the last 10 years. Their is always at least 10-12 feet of replenished sand on the beach at all times.

If someone found a gold bracelet or some coins on the beach, would they get to keep it or would there be a big fight over it? Love all of your videos Terry! You keep the dreams alive!

    • @TerryCartertreasurehunter

Hey Jen Ottens my understanding is they would get to keep it as long as it wasn’t in the water. I’m back home for a little while now, we will have to get together soon.

You can hunt on the beach, what you find is yours. You just can't hunt into the water, that is owned by the treasure salvers who have the permits to those waters.

Maybe I outta move there and just take his job. I know the the whole story even when sleeping apparently better than this fella does. It was 11 Spanish and 1 French ship named the Griffon who was accompanying the Spanish Fleet so as to gain at least some protection from, guess what? PIRATES. WELL, the Admiral in charge of the Treasure Fleet must have really been something because a week or so before the Fleet came to grief the had put in to Havana,Cuba. As an ex Ship Captain my self I can tell you it would have gotten my attention to see the Port Captain frantically telling them all that a Hurricane was imminent. Yes, they had barometers in those days. They set sail regardless.
