I found a 30 inch round brass tray from India 1950’s. It looked similar to yours with dark spots. I used Murphy’s oil soap in warm water and used a toothbrush to clean it. It removed the dirt in the grooves.
Ive never tried Murphy's oil! Thanks for the tip! :)

I always love all your finds! I have several of the family, mom& child statues. Recently I gave one to a friend who is a new single mom for her new home. I just love them ! Question from an another video- about your brass turtle box. Can you repair that on your own with a screw & nut or would you have it “professionally “ repaired? Just wondering for the reselling market .
