* Garage sessions FAQ: some back-vocals were added later in order to be able to get more reverb on the vocals without mic bleed (the garage roof is made of acoustically reflective metal sheets, so we played vv quietly). Harmonies are triggered via Emma's vocal pedal. Sometimes, harmonies were added later, in situations where the pedal wasn't able to correctly follow harmonic modulations.
Voice & Guitar: Emma
Guitar: Jessy
Keys: Dragos
Bass: Cedric Martel
Drums: Eric Maillet
In the shadows he saw four eyes, lit by fire… fire
He’d never done that with a lover, before…before
Meanwhile everyone else got lost in quiet, by the rivier
Seeking for more, of course he found better…better
He saw them, they saw him
But everyone just kept on going
What he saw was different
He should have gone to bed
But instead he stuck around for the mood
In the shadows he saw four eyes, lit by fire… fire
He’d never done that with a lover, before…before
Either early or too late, it was number seven… and it happened
High like a bird with his beak through the window
He saw them, they saw him
But everyone just kept on going
What he saw was different
He should have gone to bed
But instead he stuck around for the mood
He saw them, they saw him
But everyone just kept on going
What he saw was different
He should have gone to bed
But instead he stuck around for the mood - เพลง

Excellent drumming: refreshing to see someone play drums subtly and gently, honouring the sound of this particular musical style. No need to show off, pure, classy music.
Try listening to cool jazz if you enjoy soft drums, for example chet baker's songs are full of this !
The drummer's parents are home and he doesn't want to make too much noise
😂
as drummer this makes me anxious and just wanna scream lol.
I dont have that patience
Lmaooooo
@@willyjf6193 I took jazz band one time. I saw the brushes and said fuck this.
The inability to play soft, simple grooves on time is the calling card of a bad drummer.

This guitar solo is so simple but melodic. It is like warm butter in my ears.
momentinpassing please don’t do it, it will screw up your hearing.
Ear toast will never escape my mind
I agree
it's def a tasty, toned ear-worm. lol
I know what you mean, but that sounds really uncomfortable ngl
hearing that guitar solo live in concert was one of the most memorable moments in my life..
Highlight of their entire performance for me personally.

I'm a hip hop, old school R&B fan....I happened to come across this group on an Indie TV channel the other day; since then, I've been hooked. I can't get enough of this group. Her voice; their chords. They are in a garage, playing music - chill as hell, .and they are putting out greatness in such a nonchalant, unassuming fashion. I'm blown away at how good this group is - WOW!!
Bang on the money. So true!! MIT is the best thing I've heard in years.
check out their latest album it's killer

It's like discovering a pirate's treasure, so much great music 😅
bro, hell is not chill and they are all wearing hoodies
EVERYONE'S JUST SO CLEAN AND SMOOTH IM MELTing help
The Drummer is not clean
@Calcifer unfortunately yeah, the audio is probably not from the take of the video. you can see in other ones like the tailwhip live vid, it's completely fake
i used to listen to this when i was 14, now I'm 97, man does time fly
3:12 that repeating arpeggio lick to the resolution is the cleanest thing I’ve ever heard
I'm watching from Japan.I'm glad to be able to share the goodness of music with the shape of foreign countries.
Glad to be gathered with you by out great taste in music!
gather around bud, I listen to a lot of japan 80's jazz and city pop too
Japan is one of the best places on Earth, no joke yall.
Watching from a foreign country, preferred shape is dodecahedron based on the chill vibe low key being emitted by Men I Trust - Seven (garage session).
the shape is the best part of foreign countries :3
the dude on the keys is chilling soooo damn hard, I love it

@@dylanjames7857 cause it's the most recycled joke on the internet.
I've seen this joke so many times, still funny to me haha!
Am i the only one who didn't get this joke?
One day, I was listening to this in my headphones when I got back from school. I was walking up this hill and the guitar solo started to happen. I felt so good and happy and had a sudden urge to thrust my fist into the air like the ending scene of the breakfast club. I didn’t do it and I always think back to how great this moment would’ve been if I had. This is one of my greatest regrets.
Quite an odd regret kinda made me laugh
best short story I've read in a long time!
I would feel regret if I had done that. That would’ve been a pretty lame thing to do

this or the electric guitar solo in Hangin On A String by Loose Ends???
he hits all the juiceys
no idea wich pedal or 'settings' he uses to sound like that ?
@@hugzzer8078 Sounds like an overdrive or fuzz, the wah, an electric guitar with humbuckers. But check out this little secret: you must put just an airy palm mute to give the tone a shape. This same does David Gilmour for his playing. The amp also brings the sparkle to the formula.

It's weird seeing our boy Jessy not tickling the bass but who cares, you all killed it ❤❤❤
I’m missing his sound. A lot.
Based on their music videos and live show recordings I would 100% agree with you.
But after seeing them live back in November I gotta say that you absolutely want that man playing that solo.
@Samantha Castro he's playing the guitar instead
I just realised at 1:20 there is a transition change of aspect ratio and it's so satisfying. Thank you for all the amazing music.
this solo tone tastes like cream

I thought this was a buzzkill type of song.
I thought she looked like Lindsay Bluth from Arrested Development
This is so fucking beautiful man. I want a 20 min version.
good feelings. I'd listen at half the default playback video speed to do something good like this, while smoking again, probably, always.
☯
I think the drumer just bought the drums and he wants to keep them new
😂
he doesnt wanna fuck up the mix. its a small room, theyre all close and he isnt sectioned off.
Or he's using triggers
It's downtempo music. Drummers in this genre usually play with softer snare hits
Making me fall in love with the album again!
These entire song just yells chill vibes in a warm summer night by the lake.
HELL YEAH!
This has one of the best guitar leads I've ever heard. Period. Talk about rewind moments...........
Brilliant performance - love the way they always look as though they just crawled out of bed to play a few chords; so pleasantly laid back; nice change from others
That guitar solo!!! 😍
Came to say my grandma loved this.
2:44 even Brad Pitt came to listen to them play
I love all Men I Trust songs but this song is just...piece of art
I was feeling quite tightly wound and this piece untangled me. Mellow is the new Metal. 😊🌸
I'm in love with the singer.
Both versions are incredibly awesome, but this one is my fav
this is the definition of music and art together.❤️
I’ve never seen a comment section that I entirely agree with
Except for that one guy who thinks this is like elevator music... :/
I still come back to this every week to ease my mind. Can’t wait to see them in concert one day
My favorite guitar solo of the year! Very impressed, can;t wait to hopefully catch y'all live and direct.
I've seeing a few comments about how people want to see them live. GO SEE THEM!! They are excellent live, I assure you. One of my favorite songs by them and I was super pumped that they played it live. Emma actually played the solo portion when I watched live though, it was just a dope! Love u guys.
We would but we can’t exactly go see them live any time soon lol

So glad I was able to catch them last year here in Denver. Great show, touring for a fantastic album. Stumbled on them quite by chance by listening to the local NPR jazz station late one Saturday night, and they played "Lauren" on there. So, I had to go look it up and figure out who the group was I'd just heard. Love at first listen.

Your garage session is epic. Most (probably all) of your songs sound better in these live versions. Incredible mood. Greetings from Poland.
