EU results at worlds:
Season 1: 1st and 2nd place.
Season 2: 2 teams in Semi's (CLG EU and Moscow Five)
Season 3: 1 team in Semi's (Fnatic)
Season 4: Worst year for EU, not even 1 team in top 8.
Season 5: 2 teams in Semi's (Fnatic and Origen)
Season 6: 1 team in Semi's (H2K)
Season 7: 2 teams in top 8 (Fnatic and Misfits)
EU reached the Semi Finals 5 out of 7 worlds. NA reached Semi Finals just once and it was in Season 1 :^)

NA has less population, and is same as EU in terms of infrastructure. Imagine if olympics were EU vs NA instead of each country having its own medals. Same result. But individual country wise, NA is better in ratio.

You can fit 30 of the 50 countries of Europe into just continental USA (not including Alaska).
Then add in the landmass of Canada, which is also in NA and is actually larger than the USA in terms of land area, add in Alaska, and add in any other smaller countries or states that may also primarily use NA servers.
Typical American, doesn't know geography. Probably why your players don't have any map awareness tbf, judging from time spent on your servers.
Side note: your best talents are EU and KR imports. American dream is definitely right, wake the fuck up lmao.

It's certainly not impossible for Vitality to make it out. Highly unlikely but not impossible. I personally don't think Vitality will do it but I think they will surprise us.
If a western team makes it out of that group it would be C9.
It's easy to look good if you play in NA. C9 is not better than Vitality.

Edit: after all the games played out, your predictions were pretty correct, VIT peaking with their skirmishing, but also "throwing" against C9 with a badly chosen teamfight, also Jankos and sololaners performing out of their minds in quaters.
and yeah, the level of talent fnc has this year is crazy, the fact that broxah and hyli helped caps to carry him out of a shitty laning phase vs rookie was also on point!

Wait. Did you even watch the KR Gauntlet... SKT and especially GRF played really well and Gen.G still outclassed them. KZ literally INT'ed them the 3 - 0 ... If anything their hard faught 2x 3-2 sais more about their form than the easy 3-0
I agree. SKT and Griffin really gave Gen. G a run for their money in the 2 bo5s. For the SKT series like Rookie said in an interview Faker played really well but it seemed like they just had team wide issues particularly in the jungle while honestly in the Griffin series I really saw better play from Griffin overall with Viper on a standard scaling marksman which they smashed Gen. G with in games 1 and 4. In the end its the same stubbornness that lost them their second series against AFs in the regular split where they ran the Lucian funnel twice in a row even though they got smashed in game 1 that came to bite them again here where they ran Caitlyn/Nidalee to Vladimir bottom even though he has largely fallen out of favor in the bot lane meta. And KZ just seems to choke whenever they're in an important match.
KZ seem like they never recovered from MSI. They were insane in spring and in the entire 2017 LCK season. They honestly didn't even play bad vs SSG at worlds, but it looked like SSG knew everything they were going to do long before it happened. Probably insanely well prepared. Probs to their coaching staff for sure.
That and BDD and Cuzz were rookies and prone to tilt
But honestly this year performance-wise it was BDD and Khan stepping up throughout the year especially as BDD avoided most of the criticism being a solid performer and was playing like the best player in the world towards the end of the summer regular season while at Rift Rivals the Chinese coaches called Khan the "most dangerous weapon" of Kingzone Dragon-X and must be held down if they were to win, and succeeded as in their match against Rogue Warriors Khan went on Mundo duty instead of his Jayce or Camille. On the other hand, the iconic duo of PraY and GorillA really faltered especially after MSI as when last year they were known as this "bot lane who always lost the minimum while Longzhu snowballed Khan" they really slumped this year and PraY was also no longer known as an impeccable ADC player.
2017 SSG at Worlds honestly played so well at the macro game that they eventually outlasted most opponents and focused on protecting Ruler in the late game while Longzhu were trying to snowball Khan and Bang on SKT had a big slump in Worlds 2017. That version of SSG just made so minimal mistakes and just did everything to starve opponents of their win conditions.

I remember stumbling upon this video during play in and saw all the comments where people were laughing at possibility of EU winning worlds. There's still long way to go, BUT. FNC get out of groups 6-1, VIT 3rd in group of death (C9 are monsters this Worlds), G2 have just knock out RNG in quarterfinals.

Im cheering for uzi since season 3 and through all those years always hoped that he could finally have his year where he actually wins worlds so this year my hopes are higher than ever that he could actually win worlds with RNG, im european and ofc i hope they do well but my heart belongs to uzi ans RNG : )

Since you wanted constructive critic: Try to visualize more (I know it is a lot of work), that keeps the watcher more focused on the contents of your monologue. The game in the background is ok, but it actually drew me more away, than it helped. All in all I liked your video, I just wish it was a little bit more visualized to underline and strengthen your arguments. Look at Kudo for an example how to do it (i know he makes 1 video per month, I don't mean copy him 1:1 but take some inspiration, since I love to hear what you have to say and that makes it easier for me to understand, since I am more a visual than an audio learner)

Couple of years ago I was sure either Fnatic or Origen will win the worlds and take down SKT. I think both of them actually reached semis. This year I hope it'll be G2 but Fnatic definitelly are the favorites in Europe.

This is the equivalent of the Season 4 TSM beating Samsung White meme of "Just Tilt Them". I guess since they didn't make it this time, the TSM and Bjergsen overhype before worlds has been transferred to Fnatic and Caps this year.
How FNC go against IG in the group stages will completely decide their fate in the playoffs I think they will make playoffs and go out next round sadly as i would love to see them do well. But im backing IG to take it out this year. So a FNC win in groups over IG would change my mind on where FNC end up in playoffs.
Vitality might beat either Gen.G or RNG alone but they won't be that lucky 2 times in a row.

FNC has the best shot at winning worlds of any western team since basically forever. Still, they probably wont.

Korea and China have Esports as their tradition, they care more and they approach it differently, which is why they will win Worlds again this year and for many many years to come, until EU and NA change their mindset towards Esports and take it seriously.

Imagine a new org entered european lcs in the beginning of this year. Let's call them H3. Lineup is perkz, jankos, and the rest of the new g2 lineup. Let's say most of the support staff etc migrated as well. How would you treat this team, in terms of expectations, descriptions of prior success (...none...) etc? Why should you describe g2, after replacing 4 players, any differently?
G2 is not the team that had the prior successes tied to that trademark. The nam^H^H^H trademark is a separate thing that just happens to be owned by someone who's involved with this new team.

Its crazy that nobody ever mentions Afreeca, also I think that they are the best Korean Team at Worlds and that they will probably take it all. Fnatic will lose against RNG like every year.
Why do you thubk that AF are the best?
First of all look at the Korean Playoffs and then did they also take Griffin to 5 Games who are actually the best Team in Korea right now but unfortunately Griffin didn't make it to Worlds.
And in my opinion was the best of 5 between Afreeca and Griffin more close then the Final vs KT. Afreeca was also 2nd in Springsplit although they should have went to MSI but KZ was more dominant in Spring then they were in summer so they went. And because KZ doesn't really perform that well in International events (see last Worlds) RNG won MSI and are now the favorites although they only beat the 3rd best Team of Spring in my opinion.
Szonin I think that freecs could win but due to their lack of experience on the international stage i would consider them to be the third best korean team,i think kt st their peak are the best team in the world and you can’t count out gen.g but i do feel that any korean team and maybe rng could win the whole thing
Lawrence Jhonson I think Gen G are totally overrated, mostly because they "stomped" KZ. But you cannot deny that Kiin is the best Top at Worlds, and the rest of the players should be rated in the top 5 of their roles aswell and they have 2 Junglers so they can play 2 different playstyles.
Szonin I think kiin is super good but i feel smeb is a better overall player,i felt the same last year when khan was super hyped,but i think kiin and smeb are top 2 for sure and i think spirit was super good in summer playoffs,i don’t value gen.g that high cuz they beat kz but cuz they beat griffin and they were insanely good last two worlds,2016 they were the hird best team imo at the tournament and last year obv they were number 1
I don't understand why you keep saying vitality is good at adapting to the meta. vitality does one thing: run you down and fight you. if it works they win, and if not, they lose hard. that won't work against rng and gen g. vitality is just fucked.
It’s way too biased, I don’t really think vitality has a chance against gen g or ring and I think that IG is better than fnatic by a clear margin.
