I am an older subscriber and I had to retire early due to health reasons. I started watching TH-cam videos to find the best affordable makeup. I have now found products in every category and no longer buy high end products! It is channels like yours, Mandy, that have helped me do this! Thanks so much 😊❤
I'm with you. I refuse to buy 'name' brands when I can find a drugstore dupe for hundreds less. We cruise & I'd rather take an extra week on a cruise ship than wear it on my face just to wash it off!
@Angie Glad to be part of the "club"! I really do love all the products I'm using now and do not feel like I am missing out on anything. Although, the drugstore prices are getting a lot higher these days!
You just proved that quality of application and knowing correct color theory is much more important that paying for high end but still not getting a good look if you don’t know what you’re doing. Practice of makeup application is key. Thanks Mandy!! Enjoyed watching this video
She doesn't apply enough makeup for tutorials. She act like she scared to make up face up she don't have to wear it in real life just do it for tutorials
Your complexion is beautiful and the eye look has so much dimension. No one would ever know this was an only “affordable” product look. My jaw actually dropped hearing it cost 10X less. 😂 So fun!
I’ve tried both Elf concealers, as well as others - I had given up on using concealer because it was so drying and made me look crepy, but the Elf Hydrating was the answer! Also love the Essence blush in Satin Love.
I was beating myself up for so long because I couldn't get any concealer to work & one day I just gave up. I will never be able to use concealer of any brand on me as it was either creapy, blotchy or looked like I spackled my under eyes!
I Don’t know how I stumbled upon you on TH-cam but I am so grateful! I like all of your videos but my favorites are when you do a whole bunch of books with one pallet. I would like to see you do some looks with Love in London and colorpop’s bare necessities.
Flower Beauty seal the deal illuminizing setting spray is actually a combo of the catrice dewy and colourpop pretty fresh spray!!!! It’s less dewy than catrice, but more juicy than colourpop!!!!! And it smells amazing!!!!! You would love it I think! It’s at ulta.
I love both affordable and high end makeup, but some of my current favorite affordable products are the Essence Sun Club Matte Bronzing palette (the powders are SO smooth, I just can’t stop using it), the NYX Born to Glow concealer, and the Wet n Wild glossy lipsticks you keep mentioning! I tried a few on one trip to the grocery store on your recommendation, and now have almost the whole line! They are such a perfect finish. Oh, and the WNW liner in Simma Brown Now. It’s my new favorite-thank you!!!
You are fast becoming one of my favorites. Thanks for doing this video Mandy. I watch a few videos a day and I’m amazed at some of these young girls who use high end makeup. I know that some get it for free but a lot of them are new and are paying themselves. I think young people want to have the best of everything and to them it means paying more. As we get older we get smarter!
I am 48 and I use concealer very sparingly. I love the elf hydrating concealer. I’ve actually used it as my foundation. Like a small amount can spread a long way. For my eyes a put the tiniest dot on the tip of my small blending sponge in my inner corner and blend out. Love the look you created.
Love your videos! You are so genuine and personable, and you make affordable makeup a positive thing. Everytime I am watching one of your videos, my hubby mentions how pretty you are, and he is right!
I'm so glad that there is affordable/good make up available. I can splurge once in awhile as a gift for myself for high-end and that allows me to mix-it-up and get nice/business/everyday/looks! :) Love your videos! And as a bonus, your daughter is adorable!
I have tried both E.L.F. Concealers. I prefer the hydrating one, but I do have very dry skin and use it just on my under eyes.I use the clear brow/ lash gel just on my lashes it keeps my mascara from smudging. I have used their finishing spray , pretty good and affordable. You look so pretty.
I have recently found the Essence Lip Liners, and I totally agree about the colors being difficult to pin point. I have tried three shades so far and my favorite is called “Tea Time.” It is the perfect rosy mauve color. It’s like my lips, but better. I will definitely try “Because Duh.” It was on my list to try anyways. Thanks for sharing your great affordable makeup!
I'm a concealer freak & the Elf Hydrating concealer works perfect & the Wet & Wild Dewy is also great. I've been purchasing lots of Elf brushes too. I only & used & sold high end cosmetics for years & threw $$ out the window. Keep up the affordable cosmetics. They look fab.
Great video! I love love love affordable makeup! I did watch both videos. Both great looks. But I gave up high end makeup a year and a half ago because I was waaay outta budget. I felt like I couldn’t get quality makeup at the drugstore, that it would hurt my skin etc. but I was happily wrong! It’s been a great journey to discover all the awesome stuff at the drugstore end of things. Peace to you and your family!
I got my wisdom teeth taken out and your videos have been keeping me entertained while ive been at home. The affordable makeup look won in my opinion! Thanks Mandy!
Hi Mandy!!! Simply GORGEOUS!!!!! and with amazing afordable products (i own some and love them) You look so fresh and gorgeous!!! Everytime i watch you , you inspire me to go straight to my vanity and put on a full face of makeup which indeed makes me feel uplifted!!! Have a great weekend❤️❤️❤️😘
I have the day off so I'm cleaning and organizing my makeup stash and who better to keep me company than you!?!? Can't wait to watch.... your eye looks bring me life! Xoxo
Your little girl is so precious! I’m a new subscriber, so this is the first time I’ve seen her. I literately gasped when you gave the total of all the makeup! ELF is becoming one of my new favorite brands. I’ve always loved their brushes, but now I’m trying more of their makeup. Today I picked up more of their mini eyeshadow palettes, a blush, bronzer and the hydrating concealer. The store packaging is so easy to open as opposed to other brands that you nearly destroy the product to get them open. That makes me very happy! I have purchased a Rimmel lipstick in #08 over and over. I love the color for everyday and it feels good and really lasts. I like it as well as those CT lipsticks you say you’ve never tried. I don’t understand the love of the CT lipliner at all. I like a creamier liner and I don’t like to sharpen pencils. I have been bingeing on your videos lately. Keep up the good work!
the ELF concealers are too cakey on me, i wanted the hydrating one to work, but it made my pores stand out, have you tried the Catrice camo concealer? it really covers even though it is thin
Revlon has amazing lipsticks, they have matte and cream finishes and so many colors to choose from. I love drugstore makeup but I do like to splurge on high end once in a while.
I love affordable make-up too. (The most expensive item that I own is Tati's pallett, which I'm so glad I purchased.) But I'd love to see you do a Shop Miss A video sometime. They have some great things, and are constantly adding new items.
I have a couple of drugstore products that I always use and love. Maybelline concealer and Essence mascara are in my make-up drawers at all times. I am a lover of 'department store '- we always called it that!- makeup. Not necessarily luxury, but higher end. For me it is the staying power, the selection and yes- sometimes the packaging, but not always. I I feel like I have spent so much money duping products, that I came to the conclusion that if I love a higher end product, it works for me and I can afford it, I am not wasting time and money trying to find a dupe! I am just enjoying the products I love! No guilt- I have enough of that , I don't need it with makeup 😁! it was a fun video Mandy! Your look was beautiful! Lisa Smithey Portland Oregon x
I love that you mention prices and are practical - why pay more if you don't have to! Beautiful look girl. ♥ Elle PS - Have you done an favorite affordable brushes video?
I love affordable makeup! I love even more that you showcase affordable, drugstore makeup on your chanel quite often. Profusion cosmetics eyeshadow pallets are one of my most favorite affordable brands. I recently purchased the Gold Rush pallet for like ten dollars. At a glance it appears to be a good substitute for the Urban Decay Honey Pallet, whodunit cannot bring myself to purchase..lol
That wet n' wild eye primer is the first I've bought and I can't imagine high end being any better. I used it under my favorite non waterproof liquid eyeliner that smudges if it's too hot out and it made it smudge proof. I even slept with it on and woke up with near perfect winged liner! I could have done a quick touch up and been out the door.
I appreciate your videos with affordable makeup so much! I love the garnier primer. I bought it off your recommendation and it works so good! I’ve used both elf concealers and prefer the hydrating one but honestly I don’t love either one. I think i still like the covergirl trueblend one better. I agree with you 100% on the cream and sugar palette! The shimmers are so good if only it had a better transition shade it would be perfect! Thank you for another great video 😊
I love the Wet N Wild split pan contour/highlight. It's huge and like $5.00. Great video and I think I liked this look better than the high end. You're adorable and definitely made for TH-cam as is Ms Charly. I LOVE catching frogs!🐸
Love that elf brow pencil, the Wet ‘n Wild bronzer and lipstick, the Essence blush and highlighter, and the Catrice setting spray. There were only a few items I don’t own so I can’t speak on everything but you did awesome as usual and you’re right, the look did turn out great! 🔆
my favorite concealer is maybelline's age rewind and my favorite blushes are always milani! i like brow pencils from revlon. eyeshadow palettes is where I sink a bit more money.
OKAY FIRST OFF, THOSE EARRINGS ARE LIFE 💕 Of the two ELF concealers i adore the original for full face complete looks (which happen to have a more matte finish in the foundation). I love the hydrating one for no makeup makeup looks (it’s the same shade name as the original however it is considerably darker) I bought that brow pencil on your recommendation and i LOVE it. It is so quick and easy and i can never find AUBURN brow products at the drug store let alone a 2$ one. Now i want to try putting all my affordable makeup on at once. Hummm. My affordable recommendation is Essences’s Melted Chrome individual eyeshadows. They are delightful. (must be swiped on so the particles lay flat making the shimmer cohesive and i recommend using a setting spray if you have to use a brush) Ahhh yes the recorder every mom’s favourite spit catcher (whistle edition) My kids found my harmonica (aka spit catcher humm edition) and have been “playing it” ever since.
Essence does in deed have my favorite blush! The satin touch blushes are the best and I wish I had grabbed them when they had more colors. I also love MANY drugstore highlighters, wouldn’t spend high end money on highlighters.
Thanks for an affordable video. Love the look. The ELF cream and sugar performs just as well as Natasha Denona. I got mine for THREE DOLLARS! Love your earrings!
My faves: essence lash princess waterproof and the green one, milani eye primer, milani lipsticks and gloss, elf 2$ brow pencil, elf 3$ shadow palettes, elf primer infused blush and bronzers. Catrice pressed waterproof powder. Don't like elf concealer. Do like catrice and colourpop concealer. The Believe foundation is really good, too. Aoa paw paw sponges are a hg.
Love this look and the affordable prices. I have spent a ton of money on makeup too. I now have vowed to only buy affordable makeup from now on. Have you tried Dollar General Believe line? Would love to see a full face and your opinion. great video ty😍
I keep using the elf camo concealer as an eye primer- love it! I need to try the Dewey one. I have been trying a lot more elf products lately- their eyeshadows seems beautiful. Love your makeup look!
Beautiful! Drugstore makeup has come such a long way. Hands down, the CYO foundation is theee best drugstore gem. When I heard that it was going to be discontinued I bought a bunch of backups. I usually opt for more of a sheer coverage, but there’s just something about that foundation. Thanks , lovely🍃🌸
I started using the hydrating concealer and I have been breaking out ..and I never do..I'm 63...well going to try the pat magrath conceleaer...your videos are awesome...a thought...urban decay violet..7 looks!!!!
Drug store favorites - Believe Beauty Foundation (Dollar Store), L'Oreal Hydra Perfecte Perfecting Loose Face Powder, and ColorStay Ultimate Suede™ Lipsticks are all part of my regular routine. I wear the lipsticks with gloss so they aren't too matte and they still last. Believe Beauty is comparable to my Nars Sheer Glow Foundation - nearly identical!
I have ordered every essence blush minus bespoke that you recommended. I have too many bespoke type colors. They are really amazing. I never thought I'd like blooming. Wrong! Its like my favorite now. I use it on more natural looks but also it's magical for like taking blush down a notch if I've gone a little too heavy handed. It's my "blush rescue"...i LOVE all your recommends. PS I got Mac so natural and one other color whose name I'm blanking on. They're freaking awesome too EDIT: YOU NEED to try makeup revolution; I 💙 revolution coconut setting powder....it just MIGHT be a mercier dupe!!! I LOVE IT
I love the essence pure nude highlighter but I wish the had a even lighter shade for more fair/light skin because it’s hard to find highlighters for fair and deep skin tones. I love the original essence pure nude highlighter but it can be a touch to dark for me most of the year
I just bought L’Oréal Amber Rush to use as a topper. It cost a little more than the JCat but it is seriously gorgeous. I think it was around $6.50 on Amazon. They have a ton of colors and I have order a green one but I won’t get it right away. If it’s as pretty as the one I got it will be worth the wait. I just realized I just got 2 of the Natasha Denona mini palettes and there are several greens in those. Oh well, the trials we go through, lol.
I have pretty much every one of these products and like all of them except the Wet n Wild Dewy Foundation. I hate it with a passion! For me, it has no coverage, no staying power, and looks completely greasy in my dry skin. Basically, it serves no purpose in my life! I'm sticking with L'Oréal Infallible for drugstore foundation. Worth the extra $$$. Enjoyed the video! ❤️
I'm a new subscriber and am really enjoying your content. I personally like a combination of affordable and high end. I don't solely sit in one camp or the other. I love the elf bite size eye pallets (I have 2 Cream and Sugar and Truffle), also like Essance eye brow pencil only downfall there is I go through it rather quickly.
Hi Mandy, could you try out more brands from the Glamraider site, please? In particular, the ones with Revolution in their names eg Makeup Revolution, and perhaps Kim Chi Chic Beauty. There is another “cheap” brand, but I can’t remember the name right now. Thank you 🙏🧚♀️🌟
I think in general drugstore mascaras are way better than many high end ones. I’m telling you guys I’ve always thought that high end makeup was something like a dream and I’m missing a lot, until I could afford it and realised how drugstore makeup can be comparable if not better sometimes 😐
I had to break up with concealer. I tried every which way but upside down & had to give up. We do not work well together at all. I have used Baby Oil to take off my mascara for over 20 years & I can wear those harder to get off mascaras with ease as the BO gets them off like magic! My lashes are sorta long & sorta thick & have never changed. Yes Style is a good site to get Tony Moly too. I've ordered from them so I know. & Dr Dray is who turned me on to that site as well & she ROCKS!
For things like clear eyebrow gel, lipgloss/lipstick, mascara, basic face setting powder, powder blush & eyebrow pencils ( depending on how difficult to shade match you are) I think the drugstore/Target/Walmart is fine. It seems a little silly to spend close to luxury prices on those items although I do agree that very budget brands like ELF, NYC & Wet N Wild are not known for sturdy packaging & if you take your makeup with you for a mid day touchup, I could see how that might become an issue. For me personally, eyeshadow & foundation are just no-gos from the drugstore. I don't necessarily think you need to pay Pat McGrath prices to get quality, but at least an ABH quality eyeshadow palette & a foundation/BB cream that has good quality ingredients in it, a good shade range, no fragrance & a mineral based SPF since I cannot tolerate chemical sunscreens. I can't usually find all that at the drugstore or at drugstore prices unfortunately. Wish I could!
I love the WnW foundation and found it (the dewy one) at Amazon for $2.79 recently for shell ivory. I stocked up! 👍🏻I grabbed my summer shade top of nude ivory as well. Just thought I’d share! I love both concealers: I use the hydrating for everyday and the original (which I don’t set because I have dry skin) I use for higher coverage. Also enjoy the Hard Candy Glosstopia glosses as the frosty/clearish one (Frostease) reminds me of Fenty Diamond Milk Gloss Bomb. It has Hyaluronic Acid to moisturize the lips too. $5.97 at Walmart.😉I like the bronze colored one too. Revolution Beauty also has a big fat gloss as well and I like those but not as much as the Hard Candy ones.
Gorgeous 😍💕! Loved this. Your eyes look beautiful here. Loved the j cat topper. Gotta love the drugstores version of makeup lately. Always love what you do. So pretty.
Loved your high end video and loved your inexpensive makeup video as well. I love makeup so if I can get a great deal it's always great! I mix it up an it all works well! Thanks! ❤❤❤
I am an older subscriber and I had to retire early due to health reasons. I started watching TH-cam videos to find the best affordable makeup. I have now found products in every category and no longer buy high end products! It is channels like yours, Mandy, that have helped me do this!

@@CowGirlKat8691 I feel like the quality of affordable products is much higher than it used to be!
Your genuine love of affordable makeup is refreshing; I hope this doesn’t change as the number of your subscribers increases!
It always happens though, and is always disappointing. I’m banking on her being old enough to know better though😉
“Affordable” makeup is what MANY people want!!
Would love to see you do a half face high/low for comparison 👍🏼
I would love to see that video!
You just proved that quality of application and knowing correct color theory is much more important that paying for high end but still not getting a good look if you don’t know what you’re doing. Practice of makeup application is key. Thanks Mandy!! Enjoyed watching this video
Just love this look. Proving that inexpensive makeup can look gorgeous. Have to get some of the small Elf palettes!
They are awesome!

Absolutely beautiful look! I think the less expensive look wins overall
Mandy, I LOVE the bloopers!! Bring back where your kids pick your makeup look!! ❤️🇨🇦😘

I Don’t know how I stumbled upon you on TH-cam but I am so grateful! I like all of your videos but my favorites are when you do a whole bunch of books with one pallet. I would like to see you do some looks with Love in London and colorpop’s bare necessities.
Love this beautiful look! You used a lot of my favorite drugstore products! I love mixing drugstore and high end.
May I add that you are simply gorgeous! So humble and easy going.

Your eyeshadow always looks so good. It compliments your eye shape, brow bone, and brow arch. Excellent art work.
Thanks Celeste!😊❤️❤️

It is my favorite! I repurchased many times !!!
Same here actually all concealers for that matter. I had to give up on ever getting a good look using them
My favorite shadow is Wet n Wild' s Walking On Eyeshells. For $3.00 is the best good quad picks and good color payout. It's my go to color most days.
Revlon has amazing lipsticks, they have matte and cream finishes and so many colors to choose from. I love drugstore makeup but I do like to splurge on high end once in a while.
I love the Essence longlasting eyeliner, i have it in 8 shades, i recommend it

Pretty look MandyLea!! A future musician in the house!! ;) She is so adorable!! 😊❤
Love love love affordable makeup from drugstore!! Thank you!!!
I ordered the ELF palettes last week. Can’t wait to try them out.
I put the tan shimmer in the crease. It looked awesome. Surprised me.

I like to mix shadow shades to make new ones like a transition shade.
Beautiful look. Thank you Mandy. 💞
Very pretty look Mandy, ty. I really like the maybelline eyeshadows!!
Have you tried the Maybelline chrome highlighters Mandy? They are gorgeous. Missing your 7 looks videos. More please.
Love this look and the affordable prices. I have spent a ton of money on makeup too. I now have vowed to only buy affordable makeup from now on. Have you tried Dollar General Believe line? Would love to see a full face and your opinion. great video ty😍
I did the same thing about 4 years ago. I’m so happy I did and I love my makeup every single day! I don’t miss overpaying for the same things at all!
I keep using the elf camo concealer as an eye primer- love it! I need to try the Dewey one. I have been trying a lot more elf products lately- their eyeshadows seems beautiful. Love your makeup look!
Beautiful and so fun! I love those earrings on you!
Absolutely gorgeous! Amazing price! This look definitely wins!
Rimmel natural bronzer. It is amazing and only about $4!!
Thanks Jody! I need to revisit the Rimmel section- it has been a while!😁❤️❤️❤️
Ooh I second this!! That palette does look really pretty!
Your daughter looks just like you!!
Both of you - gorgeous
Drug store favorites - Believe Beauty Foundation (Dollar Store), L'Oreal Hydra Perfecte Perfecting Loose Face Powder, and ColorStay Ultimate Suede™ Lipsticks are all part of my regular routine. I wear the lipsticks with gloss so they aren't too matte and they still last. Believe Beauty is comparable to my Nars Sheer Glow Foundation - nearly identical!
Thanks Elelia! I need to try that Believe beauty! Dollar General is a good 40 minute drive for me but for a $5 foundation it might be worth it!😁❤️❤️❤️
I love the hydrating one, I don't wear make up every day but it is my go-to!
They're freaking awesome too
EDIT: YOU NEED to try makeup revolution; I 💙 revolution coconut setting powder....it just MIGHT be a mercier dupe!!! I LOVE IT
Those eyes!!!! Gorgeous! I like this look better!
Your look is always stunning! 🥰
What a beautiful look on you!
I love the essence pure nude highlighter but I wish the had a even lighter shade for more fair/light skin because it’s hard to find highlighters for fair and deep skin tones. I love the original essence pure nude highlighter but it can be a touch to dark for me most of the year
Me too😢
I just bought L’Oréal Amber Rush to use as a topper.
Love this look and with so many drugstore variety, its a win win!
Beautiful look. Thanks for all your tips. 💕😊
This is a beautiful look! I’m a huge fan of high end makeup! My skin is a fan too, haha...But I Enjoy drugstore MU as well. Thanks for a great vid!
Have you tried Believe Beauty foundation? I love it!
I always look forward to watching your videos! Thanks for so much fantastic content 😊
Thank you so much!❤️❤️❤️
I'm a new subscriber and am really enjoying your content. I personally like a combination of affordable and high end. I don't solely sit in one camp or the other. I love the elf bite size eye pallets (I have 2 Cream and Sugar and Truffle), also like Essance eye brow pencil only downfall there is I go through it rather quickly.
Thank you Zoe!😊 Glad to have you here!
Hi Mandy, could you try out more brands from the Glamraider site, please? In particular, the ones with Revolution in their names eg Makeup Revolution, and perhaps Kim Chi Chic Beauty.
There is another “cheap” brand, but I can’t remember the name right now. Thank you 🙏🧚♀️🌟
So many of my fave products are in this video and also on my face today! Happy Friday everyone ❤️😀
the affordable look WINS!!!
I love the Clothes Off lipstick! Use it all the time!
One of my new favorite palettes is the elf New Classics.
So pretty.
Thank you so much Najette!!❤️☺️❤️😁
The Milani eyeshadow primer is my favorite and only $5!!!
It’s been on my list for years! I need to try it next!😁
Mixed in a pot with Duraline and nothing ever fades or creases. 14 hours.
I love the coty airspun translucent powder.
Loved your high end video and loved your inexpensive makeup video as well. I love makeup so if I can get a great deal it's always great! I mix it up an it all works well! Thanks! ❤❤❤
