- It's not everyday where you have a talented Groomsman shock the crowd with an incredible singing performance but at Jen and Matt's Wedding, that sure did happen. Matt's Groomsman Eric Goldberg had been practicing a special song that meant a lot to Matt and Jen so he decided to perform during the peak of their wedding reception. The band of Cafe Wha gave an extra set of hands with the performance with some instrumental support and after the crowd went crazy!

Just ran across this. Man, I would pay to hear him. The band did a great job of back up and I just loved the way the bride and groom sang along. They look so in love and happy. Hats off to Eric Goldberg for knowing and playing their special song so well.

It’s a unique experience… TH-cam, the internet… we can experience a performance, that is not the original, and then use it as the basis of all other performances. I’ve don’t know the band or the song… I am sure they do it perfectly but this will be my benchmark version. Awesome job! The look on the bassist when he opened up on the guitar!! Ha! This must have even been better to hear in person. Great job. And congrats to the newlyweds!!!!

I love this song! It really got me through my time in treatment for my mental health issues. All I had was my guitar and I learned a couple songs that I'd been wanting to play but just hadn't been able to get the drive during my depression. This was the first one I got down.

I got super fucked up at work (i loved my job, but seen and endured too much shit). Bleed on the brain, teeth knocked out, broken ribs, severed artery in my leg, two broken legs, mangled feet and broken back etc etc. I spent 7 years addicted to pain meds and for some reason this song just hits me. Clean and sober with 3 beautiful kids and a woman who stood by me all the way.
