even in its base form, you have second thoughts upgrading it, that is if you're a minimalist & that's probably why i cannot get over the looks of my Almera... make it yours too :)

I have a 1.5 liter AT almera, and its very quick, its quicker than a 1.5vios that automatic, but one day I went to nissan quezon ave for service,I tested the 1.2 liter almera, I was shock how quick it was, with its manual it feels it can give my 1.5AT a match :p I even ask the sales lady, sigursado ba sila 1.2 yan. The HR engines are powerful, despite lack hp specs, had my 1.5 been MT it would of been fast:p

@@madukkween2701 The co worker of my brother at Nissan had a Sylphy, AC is colder is the Almera he said than in his B17 Sylphy. He had minor issue about the AC in a short period of ownership but it was a fixable issue, it really depends on the situation. Especially if its too hot and has less heat rejection tints it would really take time for the car to get cold in the inside. Would love to have a Sylphy because my previous car is the B13 but since it didn’t fit the garage i got the shorter Almera. :) Both me and my brother got an Almera 1.2.
Tingin ko. Mas tipid yang 1.2 na Almera dahil 3 cylinder sya. Kagaya ng Mirage G4 Sedan na 1.2L 3Cyl.. madaming nagsasabi na sobrang tipid kahit yung matic nila. Ano pa kaya tong 1.2 MT ng almera hehe. Yung 1.5 ko nman medyo malakas sya sa gas lalo na pag traffic (City Driving) Pero maganda hatak at tipid sa gas pag sa long drive 🙂🙂

@@Sebastian.12 maybe it will be released soon because they stopped already the production of the N17 Almera and closed down the production plant in Sta. Rosa. So if ever you encountered a 2020 to 2021 that will be the last of PH assembled Nissan Almera luckily they have given as the N sport version to the PH market, because TH and Malaysia only got the Nismo, Sportech, and Black Series Almera. Next gen might be coming from Thailand.
It was a tough call between City, Vios, Soluto and Almera for me. I chose Almera for all the reasons mentioned. No regrets.

Personally, I'd go for the Almera. It's more fuel efficient and offers tje most space for a sub-compact sedan :-)
