They are not the "normal" Pacific/Atlantic salmon (salmonoid) you may be used to. They are as post author notes, A/salmon, which is a type of perch. They can get a decent size with large schools across the southern seas of Australia (spawning) ~ 4+kg, not great to eat as fillet etc but have been canned in the past, then reasonable to the taste. pir.sa.gov.au/recreational_fishing/rules/species_limits/species_profile/salmon_australian
I’ve seen similar at Goldsmiths beach in South Australia Only difference was no visible salmon but was standing next to the memorial of Sam Kellet who was taken by a Great White at the location Surfers waiting for a set Seals and Dolphins in site Crazy
hard to tell what sort of sharks they are... kinda slow moving, skinny. Do Nurses eat Salmon like that? Feels too skinny to be Bull or Tiger, and i highly doubt there are multiple great whites chilling like that
Love the drone wild life photography.
This is just superb footage. Thanks for uploading.
Really cool bro
Australian salmon

Do not hang in the bait ball.
I was going to post the same comment. You're asking for trouble if you're in the water near a bait ball.
