- I've seen a lot as an OTR trucker but this is the first time I've seen a truck driver park his semi truck on the CAT Weigh Scale while he goes to shower and eat lunch. Unbelievable. The truck drivers' courtesy we've grown to love has quickly become a "thing" of the past. So many different backgrounds and cultures are on the road so courteous has come and gone. But this is plain rude and disrespectful to me and every driver. If parking at the fuel island wasn't as disrespectful now they're parking on the weigh scale. It's getting ridiculous out here. I'm normally cool and rarely get angry but at the end, you can hear I've had enough with this day. I kept my cool all day except towards the end. You have to have patience to be a truck driver, but this is beyond patient lol. Anyways, thank you for tuning in to VLOG 23 of Diesal (Diesel) Diaries! Thanks for sharing your travels with us. Parking on the scale is definitely crossing the line. Its absolutely ridiculous. Its shows the narcissist mentality of some people to think that it would be okay to do that. I would have taken all of his information off of the truck and reported it to his companies top management. Its clear the driver doesn't have any sense. Perhaps management at his company could pound some sense into his head.
